DO NOT GO HERE!!! It is unfortunate because I am a regular. It is usually convenient, affordable, and quick for quality. My last two visits, however, were disappointing and actually infuriating. I am usually happy to get Tri because of her expertise, but her lack of attention and care this last time was unbelievable, so much so that I had to write this review. She rushed through my haircut so quickly that she didn't ask me how I style my hair and began to cut my hair the opposite direction, which I had to interrupt before she got carried away. She mentioned several times how I was making her work for her money. On top of that, she just cut my sideburns off WITHOUT ASKING! I'm over 30 years of haircuts, I have never NOT been asked about my sideburns. Come to find out--the store is downsizing and moving from their prime corner location to the spot next door and offering less product. read more

this place seems convenient since I live nearby...but it's never been my favorite of places...since i only get a hair cut about 2 or 3 times a year....and I'm going over seas for 6 months, so i wanted to get a hair cut before i left...and .i happened to have gone in with my sister who was also getting a hair cut. i think their pricing is ridiculous...adding $5 if u have longer hair... soo, taking that into account, I've always usually paid in between $18-$20....(not including tip).....and like i said, I only go here because i live nearby and dont' feel like driving all around stockton for a hair cut....but now I'm starting to rethink that! I went in, and the place was pretty busy...no prob..waited about 10 minutes... the lady who cut my hair wasn't the friendliest.... I've been told from family and friends, that my hair is long and thick....which i'm very grateful for...so i took my hair down from my bun...the lady cut a little bit of hair ...showed me in the mirror, (since i wanted a straight even cut in the back) and the lady said it'd be $20.... but on the window they had advertised 12.95.....so i was confused thinking my total would be 12.95+ $5 for the long hair i have... NOPE!!! i was like, fine, whatever..i've paid this before. I got a couple inches snipped off (my ends were dry),.and a few layers in the front...she blow dryed them a little bit... was it worth $20? absolutely not! so while i was getting my hair cut, my sister was getting hers done too by another lady, who seemed a lot more customer friendly. my sister got the same cut done, AND got her hair straightened all pretty..but for $15!!! I'm not gonna lie, i was pist. not b.c i didn't get my hair straightened ( i could do that myself! and i used to work at the mall, at the kiosk that sells hair straightners) but b.c i got charged more! and my sister's hair is a little lengthy... my lady didn't even do much to my hair...and apparently the little bit that she did was worth $20...she could've at least have done a little more to my hair, u know? is it my fault that my hair is thick and it was just too much work for her? I will not be going back there again for a hair cut. when i return home, I'll definately be going to another place for my hair cut. read more

I had a medium length asymmetrical a line and just wanted a trim. I told her I have an asymmetrical a line and she seemed to understand and after my hair cut it was obvious she had no idea what it was. My asymmetrical a line was completely gone. She also did random layers that were choppy and now I'm embarrassed to straighten my hair, you can notice it big time. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow out to get my asymmetrical back and grow out the random layers. Never again. read more

I use to love this place but the last 3 times they have done an absolute horrible job! The last time I had to have my husband cut all the hair they missed. My hair cut from last week is so bad I can't wear my hair down until I get it fixed. I decided I'm never going back, is not worth it. I cried after I straightened my hair and saw how bad it is. Now I have to pay to get it fixed and it will end up being much shorter than I wanted in order to even it out. You get what you pay for. read more

Idk why everyone seems to think this is a good place WHEN IT ISNT. I got my hair done here for prom by Lynn and she was RUDE. I booked an appointment a month in advance and had my hair washed and styled. I asked her a month before how much it would cost and she said 45 but when we were done with everything she charged me 65. She then told me "because the wash is $15 extra" are you serious lady? No one told me this beforehand. Also while she was doing my hair she was on her phone constantly and had a client come in for her and said "shit" because she couldn't do their hair because of me. EVEN though I made a appointment a month in advance. My hair was crispy from all the hairspray she used and gel she was also very rough with my hair. I don't recommend this place at all. She then tried to justify the price with my mom saying "well I worked for about an hour on it" yeah for an hour you did a pretty crappy job. If you wanna go get your hair done right I recommend exclusive beauty salon. This place is ridiculous. read more

I love this place. I have been going here for years, any time I have had to go elsewhere...I have been disappointed. I promised myself, no matter what...I will always make time to come here. I recently moved but its worth the travel time for a great haircut. Lisa is the best...she takes her time and I get compliments on my hair all the time.....I will not let anyone else cut my hair. Even my 9 year old insists that the "fast lady Lisa" cut his hair because she doesn't make him itchy, she's fast and he gets a great haircut every time!!! read more

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the salon was a bit messy, and the girl in the mini skirt at the front desk was less than welcoming and yelled at the stylists...which did not create a welcoming or relaxing atmosphere. I went to this salon in desperation. I haven't been able to book an appointment with my regular stylist for weeks, and my hair was starting to drive me crazy. I was a walk in, and did not have high hopes for getting a great cut. After a short wait Kristina took me to her station and proceeded with a great consultation. She talked me through every step of the cut, gave me the mirror to check her progress throughout the cut and the end result was much better than I had hoped for. I must admit I am a salon snob, and as a cosmetologist I dread the thought of someone unknown cutting my hair. That being said, Kristina was professional, and I LOVE my new hair style. She cut more than 3 inches (as I requested), touched up my layers, and blended my bangs, and she did an awesome job! Seeing as it's National Hairstylist Appreciation day, I would like to recommend this talented young stylist. read more

Hands down one of the rudest shopping experience I've ever had. My friend and I just went into this place to look at makeup and beauty supplies. First off we weren't even greeted by the ladies at the front desk until 10 minutes later. So my friend and I are looking at their henna tattoo kits because they looked fun as well as looking at other stuff as we are looking we can hear the ladies at the desk whispering about us one short hispanic lady and one taller blonde lady. We decide were not going to give anyone business who is going to treat customers like that. Now I'm not sure if this was because we weren't wearing makeup and we were wearing leggings and a t shirt because it's been so hot and we just didn't "fit in". As we were leaving not even 20 feet away the shorter hispanic lady comes walking out asking us if we stoled the henna tattoo kit and we said no you were watching us the whole time and that we set it by the nail supplies then she began to accuse us of stealing it again!
