This was the only office who returned my phone call and I called 4 different places. When we went in for a check up, we found out our son was going to have to have some dental treatments and our son was very apprehensive about the whole situation. Dr. Iseman not only put our son's fears at rest, he also did a fantastic, quick job and called that evening to check and make sure our son was doing ok after the procedure. If we had not moved away, I would still be using their services. They are a wonderful office and everyone in the office is very helpful and knowledgeable about their area of expertise. My child is covered under military insurance through the other parent. Military insurance has a benefits number just as any other insurance has. The receptionist refused to look up the insurance by it instead she insisted on having the SSN. I explained to her that we don't have contact with the other parent and I would be the responsible party. She said the parent with the insurance policy HAS to be the responsible party. She blurted out his address which I didn't even have (thanks for that BTW), but if it were my information I'd be very upset to find out a dentist office freely disclosed it. I also explained to her if she mails out a bill to the other parent it would be ignored. She didn't seem to care about my family dynamic or safety. I told her I would look elsewhere. After administering the anesthesia I told her that I still had feeling in my tooth. She said I wasn't being honest and said that she would wait 5 more minutes, then she was going to get started. When she came back, I told her I still had feeling. She used the water sprayer to check and I said that I can still feel the ice cold spray. She said it wouldn't be that bad and proceeded to drill my toothed and fill it anyway. It was miserable. I cried the entire time and she told me I was lying about the pain in order to get more medication. I tell everyone that I see that she is a disgrace to the profession. I wIll never go here ever again and you shouldn't either. Whenever I see their stupid commercials and I see her speaking about patient care I am enraged all over again. She is a joke and she cheapens the entire practice.

Like- come on here. Delta Dental didn't pay for a Pano? Then- the consultation fee is 150.00 that the don't tell you about and not covered by insurance. So I call out of desperation because I was told by the Dentist that he was the best in town. They call me 2 days before my appointment and tell me that I owe the 258.00 for a 6 year old debt from a visit where I got a pano and was so disgusted that I never went back. They said that needed to be paid to the collection agency before being seen. So-I say ok. Then I call back and ask her about the consultation/appointment and what is due up front. She says I need to pay the whole 150 plus the collection agency fee. I ask her if the consultation fee can be paid at the time of the wisdom tooth extraction instead of at the time of the consultation. She says no. I told her that I couldn't pay it all at once, a normal human would discern that I wouldn't make the appt. Got paid on Friday - called and paid the collections agency. Then, called to let them know and the office person REFUSED to schedule me because I no showed. REFUSED to schedule me and told me that she wasted her time calling the collection agency twice the day of my appt, How about you check in with me to see if it was paid. Honestly its ok with me because the idea of going to this office and supporting their business made me want to puke! Southwind is getting me taken care of and there is no consultation fee! The office staff was kind and welcoming and I am filing a chargeback on the collection agency payment and reporting them to the insurance commissioner. You have GOT to be kidding me! He was both cordial and professional, explaining the procedure in terms that a layperson could understand. During the procedure, I was totally relaxed and he insured I was in no discomfort and removed the affected teeth within 20 minutes. I never felt a thing. He, as well as his dental assistant, counseled me as the after surgery care and to make contact if complications arose (which they did not!!). I was impressed with his demeanor and openness. At no time did I feel intimidated by the procedure but rather felt very comfortable during the process. His efforts were instrumental in a proper fit of the denture!
