Went in for a cleaning that seemed normal enough. The overall visit was good, until I had my…read morereview/checkup performed by the dentist himself and was made aware of a lot of costly procedures that he wanted to line me up for immediately including 4 cavities and the necessity to perform some kind of epoxy work. This hit me as odd as I've yet to have a cavity in my life and all of the sudden this new to me dentist has all kinds of things he wants to do. Since this visit I've been to two more highly reviewed dentists and not mentioned a thing about this visit. Not to my surprise there were no mentions of imminent cavities or other necessary dental work needing to be performed all the while going into great detail of my x-rays showing my tooth health and what warning signs one should look out for etc. Overall I am not pleased with my visit and will not be returning.

"Oh we're not doing braces we're taking pictures because you had teeth removed" No one single person said 1 word about removing teeth. So basically the appt was paper work, and for what? We already filled it out online, filled it out on the first initial picture appt. And now to fill it out again? And then go over finances. "It's going to be $6k" "Okay so how much of that is covered by insurance?" "You have insurance? We don't have that in the paper work" "YES YOU DO, I submitted it twice already" So about 45 minutes of doing Finanical because now we have to wait for them to process insurance and all that jazz.. Queue to a few appts later, as we have talked about Jaw surgery also. Send us to the surgeon that they "work closely with" CREEEEP continues to tell my 16 year old daughter that "I don't want to do this if it's because you're changing the way you look, you look beautiful like you are" "Excuse me, we were referred here by her orthodontist" "I don't see that in my notes" 45 minutes of waiting in the lobby for this guy that they "work closely with" doesn't even have her charts and her pictures or notes, spends about 40 minutes telling us about nothing important. Gross experience there Now queue to almost a year later I get a call " insurance isn't going to cover much of this because she's had braces before" "Yeah she had them when she was 7 and still growing but that wasn't up to me" "Well insurance only covers a lifetime ortho of $1500" "Okay so why haven't I been talked to about this a loooong time ago, we are almost a year in" Thankfully there they just added it on the back half of my payments. But like, were you never going to tell me? I'm sure insurance rejected it a long time ago. You can never get an emergency appt if something breaks. It's always "I have xyz for 2 weeks" okay so I'm paying for braces, that are not going to work if a wire snaps. And I have to wait weeks to get in to get it fixed. Over all 0/10 I would not recommend unless you like hassles
