After my husband has been spending weekly times on the phone for them to a promise to come out and collect, they have not come! We don't even live in the state for the next few months and my mother who is 83 no less, drives out to check our driveway many times throughout the week and let us know that status on our yard waste. There are so many competitors in Dakota County for trash collection, if you're trying to make a decision RUN AWAY! The fella got out and cleaned it up in 35+mph wind in mid January!! Well above and beyond his Job in my opinion.. As we had over filled the dumpster that's why it fell our! I called the office and made sure they knew this guy had gone above and beyond. They were happy to hear it! However I felt I should also give them a yelp review! I am a stay at home dad with two very young children and I was going to get the kids all dressed and bring them out and the cold to clean it up! However this guy really went above and beyond! I live about an hour from them, but was told my location was no issue so they came and gave me an estimate for what seemed like a pretty straightforward job and they said they'd call me. Didn't hear from them for a couple weeks, I called, said I'd get a call back, didn't, called again, said I'd get a call back again, this went on for a while until I finally got a text from the guy that did the estimate saying the company doesn't want to provide services because of location (actually they said they wanted someone closer to replace my floors, but they would handle the mold under them if I really wanted, though when the man came to my house he said all along he would get someone else to do the floors, not him, they would just address the water damage, which I was fine with). Anyway, very confused I requested some sort of explanation- called the woman who answers the phone many times who was as confused as I was, extremely apologetic and knew *exactly* what to say to sound regretful, guaranteed someone would call me back... which never happened. I had to keep calling and calling, to which she would apologize profusely again in shock that no one ever got back to me. And yet, I NEVER got any sort of explanation of what happened after many guarantees that "the owner would call me." So i wasted many weeks of time when this problem needed to be addressed and fixed quickly to avoid more mold from growing, in addition, most importantly, to the risk my family (including my newborn baby) was at by (reluctantly) letting this man into my house during the pandemic because I knew this needed to be dealt with in a timely fashion. If they came for the estimate and decided they couldn't do the job I expect a very prompt phone call. The exact opposite happened and I had to chase them down and then still was left with zero information, explanation or apology to this day.
