My husband drove two hours to unlock our rural property and provide access. From the beginning, we felt the inspector's demeanor was rude and unprofessional. I was on speakerphone and heard him tell my husband, "Don't follow me, I work alone," after my husband simply offered documentation for the home's upgrades. Throughout the inspection, my husband complied with every request, including removing a lock from the breaker box that had been installed after our property was vandalized. Later, while securing the home after the inspection ran well past its scheduled end time, the inspector became visibly angry, forcefully kicked open our storm door, and left the home. As my husband opened the gate for the inspector to leave, he was forced to move out of the way when the inspector accelerated while backing out. Believing he had nearly been struck, my husband hit the side of the truck to get the inspector's attention. The inspector then returned to the property, yelling and cursing, until my husband advised he was contacting law enforcement. The San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office responded, a police report was filed, and photographs were taken at the scene. I have also filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), and our listing agent will be submitting a witness complaint as well. We respect the important role home inspectors play, but we also believe every inspection should be conducted with professionalism, respect, and safety. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Bartee Inspections, PLLC.

So disappointed with the Customer Service and treatment by Manager Amy with Southern Tractor. We…read morepurchased a Stihl weed eater from Ace in Willis 8 months ago and the unit would not stay running. It would start and work for 1 minute and stop. Ace Hardware Manager told us to take it to Southern Tractor that they perform Warranty for Stihl purchases from Ace. Also, Ace told us that the Stihl Warranty covered any issue for the first year up to and including replacement of the unit. We then took the unit to Southern Tractor and the gentleman that helped us took it and said "Oh yes, any issue would be covered by warranty". We received a call from Southern Tractor telling us the unit was ready - no mention that there would be a charge. My husband went to pick up the unit and was told, that it required a carburetor adjustment and the charge was $55.00. Manager Amy at Southern Tractor, says that they had to adjust first before they can find out if there were any other issues - no other issues - so they say we are responsible for the adjustment fee of $55.00. Amy was also very rude on the phone when I called to discuss. I do not recommend Ace Hardware for lawn equipment or Southern Tractor to perform work. Remember the warranty on lawn equipment is not worth the paper it is written on.
