Same with all the other local shops in the area. As a last resort and out of desperation, I called here. They explained to me the limitations of their abilities, given the fact that I own a Dodge and they are a Chevy dealer but still looked at my car almost immediately. They were able to put a band-aid on the situation so I could get it home and have it repaired properly. I am grateful that they even took the time to look at my car when nobody else would and even more grateful that they were able to temporarily fix it so I could get my family home safely!

. I brought my car in to have a tailgate repaired. This opens the back of the car by power. I…read morebought the parts from o Riley auto parts store. Then asked the Chevy service department if they would do a diagnostic before they installed the new parts and they said they would for $285.00 out the door. later they called me to say they installed the parts but it didn't work because the havoc motor that powered the lift had seized up . They said the motor would cost $1400.00 additional in order for the lift gate to work. I asked them to remove the parts and I would come by to pick up the car. I told them i wasn't interested going forward and When I got there I was given an invoice for $350.00 to be paid before I would get the car back. The women was Kathrine and then John the manager preceded to grab my key and unless I payed them $350.00 which was different from what they quoted me, where's the $65.00 come from ? that amounted to $285.00? I would not get my car back till I paid. I Dont know if That is illegal to do. I had no choice to pay the bill . They never removed the parts I asked them to do. What they should have done was to call before the parts were installed and diagnose all the parts to the tailgate before installing the parts I brought them to see if it was working properly. Then offered me an option to either fix the motor before they installed the actuator arm if they were gonna charge me the $350.00$. This is wrong. They held my car hostage . John was not acting professional. I finally paid to get my car back. The parts were never removed like I asked. and I don't know if they were installed right. I have been a contractor for over 30 years and would never have. treated my clients the way I was treated by John the manager . When I drove off the lot i noticed my brakes were not working properly . When I first drove it in , the breaks were working fine. I'm not saying they did anything but the brakes worked fine when I drove it in. Ummm.
