Backstory 1st, and why you should go with this business. I am an Active duty Soldier that was previously stationed in South Carolina and went with a window tint vendor that I know is quality, 3M. In South Carolina I had the front tinted with clear heat rejection film and all sides and back tinted with 3M ceramic. The sunroof was already tinted but I had that tinted extra dark to 5%. Fast forward after the Army moved my family here to Texas, a second summer my wife noticed that the sunroof only was bubbling. We keep all of our records, so we contacted the SC tint installer. Upon taking my vehicle to Precision Solar here in TX. David (the tint installer) showed me that the previous vendor screwed me and showed me why the film was not 3M at all. David, still took care of my families vehicle, and did not charge me. He showed me some ways to make sure that you will get the PREMIUM window tint that you paid for, weather its 3M, Llumar, or other premium vendor there are things to look at to ensure these products are not counterfeited. So if you want dirt cheap window tint that will most likely bubble in 2-3 years of Texas heat, you should go elsewhere. This is my second time coming here for tinting this year. A few months ago I had my front 2 side windows (darkest allowed) and windshield tinted (ceramic plus eyebrow). I had to come back a second time because a rock hit my windshield and cracked it straight down the middle. I actually tried to shop around for something possibly cheaper and closer to Cibolo, but when it came down to it, this place is the most reasonably priced! If heat rejection is your primary concern, then you probably want 3M Crystalline tint. Precision Solar was the best reviewed 3M installer in San Antonio, and now I know it's with good reason. I brought my Porsche Cayman to them and they took their time really making sure the film was cut and installed correctly. They even washed the car, dressed the tires, and vacuumed the interior. I wanted a subtle look and went with a 90% windshield and 70% the rest of the way around. Even just driving home, the car was noticeably cooler. The best bonus is I paid only slightly more to have ALL my windows done as my friend in California paid for just his windshield. I can't recommend Precision Solar enough. I love their work! David first tinted a truck for us three years ago while living in San Antonio. We moved to new braunfels in 2020 and i purchased a new vehicle in Feb 2021. I love his work and professionalism that i decided i wanted to make the drive and take my Jeep renegade to him. Top quality 3M tint with great service. I had a 10:00am appointment and was seen on time. I had two front windows tinted at 35% for $100 +tax. It took an hour and a half from start to finish. I got a good explanation of how to care for the new windows and what to expect in the first 3-5 days.
