I did business with America's Best over several years and purchased at least 4 pairs of glasses and two eye exams. Been a year plus and my transition glasses are scratched and needed new lenses. Sat down and the person read my file saying my last eye exam was only good for one year. (Normally two) and thus needed a new prescription at my expense. Needless to say I walked out disappointed and when I am not so busy, will buy them online for the same price. Buyer beware and confirm they are not jerking you around with a mandatory eye exam every year unless of course you have a serious eye problem that has been validated by another doctor.

It is no different than any other vision center, cost at any place just adds up. 2. The costs are always related to the options you choose. One can walk out of there paying little more than an eye exam if you don't need bifocals, transition lenses, etc, and choosing basic frames and basic lenses. Service was mediocre. The doc was very nice and service oriented, the counter staff seemed a little interrupted both during my appointment and my subsequent visit to pick up my glasses. She was never rude or said anything to the point, just was like she had other things to do. Still though, she answered all my questions (and I asked many), thanked me and did all the other polite things customer service people do. Perhaps an off day? I'd go back there again, I'm likely to buy my next pair of glasses there. Selection was good for frames and prices were as competitive as other places I've tried.

He is kind and listens to his patients. He stays up to date on the latest technology and treatments. The staff has always been very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem with my insurance claims. On the few occasions I have needed an emergency appointment I was able to get in the same day. My only complaint is the Provo office doesn't have all the newer technology that the Springville office has. Both offices are very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Rigtrup and CLR Vision.

He told me he always guesses, and guesses right-- and he knows he guesses right by checking it with the instruments. I've gone to Dr. Pugh a few times now and had a great experience every time.

On my most recent purchase, I wanted "Morty Seinfeld" glasses, and yet again, he did some digging and found them. Bill is a straight shooter.
