There are too many "Janky" tax agents out there who are willing to jeopardize your life for some quick money. Tom is very trustworthy. Hes there for every step along the way. Not to mention he was district manager of multiple tax firms before starting his own company. Je is up to date on all the current deductions and laws. CPA tax isn't hard to find, it's in the new Mirabella plaza in miramar next to McDonalds. I would say to call first but walk ins are always welcome here. I've showed up right before closing and finished at 12am the next day.

I found CPA tax on google, initially I send a message via their website but received no response after 4 weeks. Since I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by the office. Though I didn't have an appointment Thomas was very receptive and immediately started to give tax advice after explaining my situation and said he would definitely be able to help. I was definitely buying what he was selling (since I was looking for an accountant that's available year round that not only does taxes but bookkeeping and payroll as well) after a few minutes he said I'd have to give him my deposit so he and his team could get started and since it's a busy season right now there's not much time for me to wait. Since I wanted his service I decide to give him my deposit to get started. To this day i still haven't received a management report from Thomas, when asked him about the service I paid for he claims to not provide those services and that wasn't our agreement he even went as far as to call the police claiming that I was trespassing. I writing this review to help the next person. PLEASE PLEASE do your research and due diligence before entering this man establishment or since to do any form of business with him. I ignored all the RED flags since I was in dire need for the services he provided. 1. After 4 weeks a business should have ample amount of time to respond to online inquiries. 2. He was in such a rush for the deposit. 3. Every time I call to follow up on the service he always seems to be in edge(very rude). 4. I recently hired this firm for divorce proceedings, having been referred to them by a friend. I was…read moreconvinced in my very vulnerable state to wire the retainer fee, along with additional fees, immediately after my initial 30-minute consultation. After my first and only call, they provided me with a "case resolution," which was essentially a simple marriage dissolution template that anyone could easily pull from the internet. No further information was included or detailed in the decree according to my specific requests and needs. After receiving this document, I realized that I could handle the case myself at the court by filing a "simple dissolution divorce request," so I immediately requested that the case be withdrawn. It took them a month to respond, and they refunded $1,900 from my $3,000 "good faith" payment. In response to my complaint and petition to adjust the refund based on the reasons mentioned above, their reply was: "You were not aware of all the work that goes into starting a divorce proceeding," implying that I was ignorant of the subject matter. They also claimed that "several documents were drafted to begin the dissolution action aside from the Petition, which is the only document that must be signed by you." I never signed the one document I received. Their final response was: "Our detailed billing statement reflects all the work that was performed on your matter diligently and extremely quickly given the circumstances presented by your case." It was extremely quick because all I truly received was just a basic dissolution which didn't included any of the proceedings as I had originally requested. After thorough review of said bill, their charges were as follow: "Drafted all divorce documents in preparation of filing the case. Emailed Client Petition for Dissolution of Marriage for her review and signature. Legal research on newly acquired real property during pendency of dissolution of marriage." My humble opinion, as I share this experience, is that a) firms like this should be held accountable for their practices, and b) as individuals, we are most vulnerable when exposed to legal matters, especially those involving personal aspects of our lives--divorce being a particularly sensitive one. Therefore, I recommend always asking as many questions as possible and requesting detailed explanations of their actions and proceedings before consenting to work with legal experts whose principles and values may differ from yours.
