They are one of the few places in the area that offer this therapy and came highly recommended from our allergist so getting their perspective and expertise was really helpful in deciding whether or not to go forward with this with our daughter. She was leaving for vacation the week after I made the appointment, but they were able to squeeze me in for a consultation the day that I called. I spent maybe 30 minutes WITH her (not in the waiting room, not with the nurse taking my vitals, not bored sitting and waiting in the patient room!) talking about my last 8 weeks, and the couple weeks prior to that. She diagnosed my hives to have been a result from a new drug I was on (spironolactone). She was so CARING and genuinely cared about my recovery. She wasn't pushing me to get out the door. Dr. Rohatgi told me I had a delayed drug allergy, which could take at least 6 months to leave my system. Absolutely Do Not Recommend - Disorganized, Unprofessional, and Disrespectful…read more I cannot overstate how disappointing and frustrating my experience has been with Dr. Sekhsaria and Family ENT. From start to finish, this practice has shown a complete lack of respect for my time, money, and trust. I first saw Dr. Sekhsaria on March 18, 2024, for a rhinitis issue. Because I was still within the one-year healing window from an unrelated rhinoplasty, I was told I'd need to wait until July 2024 for surgery to address the rhinitus. I was assured the office would begin working with my insurance for preapproval and would contact me to schedule. At that March appointment--which lasted less than 10 minutes--my nose was scoped without any numbing spray or lubricant. Three months later, I received a bill for $238.86 for this brief and unpleasant visit. When I contacted the office in June 2024 about both the charge and surgery scheduling, I was told nothing could be done about the bill and that someone would be in touch. No one contacted me until January 24, 2025. I responded promptly on January 27 and followed up again on January 29 when I got no reply. Silence. Not until May 23--nearly four months later--did I finally hear back. The excuse? My emails went to their "junk folder." That folder typically auto-deletes every 30 days, so this explanation seemed dishonest--but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We finally scheduled surgery for June 6, 2025, and I sent my updated insurance information. Then, on June 2, I received a call saying I had to come in that week to complete an insurance-mandated appointment. So I rearranged my schedule (and work) and made an appointment at 1:00 p.m. on June 4. I arrived early at 12:50 p.m. and waited... until 1:30 p.m., when Dr. Sekhsaria finally walked in--clearly returning from lunch, holding a paper bag and a Coke. Over 30 minutes late. That is not just disorganized; it's disrespectful and unprofessional. Again, my nose was scoped without any anesthetic or lubricant. I was told insurance still hadn't approved the surgery, but that I'd be contacted the next day (Thursday) with an update. Thursday came and went. All I received was an automated reminder for the surgery. I called and was told they'd update me on Friday morning--the day of the surgery. Friday morning, I missed a call and received a vague voicemail at 9:38 a.m. from someone named Carla. I called back at 9:46 and asked for Carla, I was told she was unavailable and no update was ready. I called again at 11:48 and was placed on hold for ten minutes. That was the last straw. I hung up and called back to cancel everything. After canceling, I received repeated calls from Family ENT at 12:04 p.m., 12:24 p.m., and 1:55 p.m.--suddenly very eager, once I had cancelled. For context: I am a practicing attorney. I understand what it takes to run a professional office, and this is not it. The red flags were abundant--poor communication, sloppy administration, lack of follow-through, billing issues, unprofessionalism from the physician himself. And I fully expect another several-hundred-dollar bill for the five-minute insurance "approval" appointment on June 4. Save yourself the frustration. Dr. Sekhsaria and Family ENT have absolutely no regard for your time, your money, or your trust.

His bad bedside manner is unbelievable. Not only that, he sent the wrong RX at CVS. The pharmacist had to call the office to get the right medication. I never heard of a doctor making a mistake on RX, have you? I went to see the doctor 2nd week of November and I received a text message to view my bill on Thanksgiving's Day. Who wants to see a bill on a holiday. That's very inappropriate!!! Today at 2:30pm on December 30th, I went to pay the bill in cash. The sign said re-opening on December 30th. There was not a soul at the whole place. I yelled "HELLO" several times. That was STUPID to leave the place unlocked. How inconvenient to drive all the way to the office and not being able to pay the bill. I refused to pay online. I'm going to have to wait until next week to pay the bill since it's a holiday week. I should be charging them for my gas.

Back up to the intake staff, the patient care & medical assistant was so welcoming, I forgot I was at a doctor's appointment. Dr. S came in so smooth & engaging, it was like old friends having conversation about allergies. He took his time & asked every question necessary to get to know me as a new patient. I can't stress enough his genuine demeanor & not checking the time to get on to the next patient. He set me up for some tests, I spent a few minutes with the Nurse & Dr. S was right back in my room. He went over my results (A+), providing me with some suggestive proactivity & I was on my way. Things that I look for: 1. Average waiting time 2. Bedside manner of the physician. 3. Professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff 4. Actual time spent with the physician (1 on 1) I went to see Dr. Sekhsaria for a full evaluation of my seasonal allergies and my asthma. Let me start off by saying that He has a GREAT bedside manner (seriously, it feels like a casual conversation about your medical history.) Some doctors have some rehearsed script, or they seem totally unapproachable (like somehow they are better than you). NOT his case! The check in procedure was quick and easy. I'm well familiar with new patient paperwork and it is always extensive, confusing and repetitive. This was not the case at this office. Janice (friendly front desk lady) asked me for ID and insurance card and handed me 2 pages of paperwork. As soon as I finished, she finished making my chart, called my name and walked me back to the examining room. Once in the examining room, doctor Sekhsaria walked right in and introduced himself. My first impression of him was "wow. What a friendly guy!" I have to admit that I loved not having a technician asking me again ALL the usual questions with regards to my medical history. Dr. Sekhsaria does it all himself and in a timely manner (you never feel like he's rushing you out of the office.) Then I was guided to the testing room for breathing tests. Joanne, the lady that performed all my testing is incredibly friendly and super professional. She went through the directions(multiple times), indicating me how to do the tests properly. She's so patient! Lastly, back in the examining room for my skin tests and I waited 20-30 minutes for an allergic response (yes, that IS the standard.) Dr. Sekhsaria came back in, measured, recorded and reviewed the results with me. He explained the treatment options and we selected the one he thought best. He wrote down my regimen on a piece of paper and told me to come back in 4 weeks to reassess me and see how the treatment was working. Walked me to the front and boom! I was done. Just like the check in, quick and friendly check out. Payed my copay and I was out. From the moment I walked in until I walked out, about 1hr and 50 minutes. Given all the testing, the treatment provided and all the paperwork that usually entails with New patients this is deff a winner. To me, it's an A++ for this physicians and his staff.

He did not disappoint. During the initial tests and conversations, he actually took me seriously when I discussed my symptoms and problems, and then he prescribed me a combination of medications for maintenance of my allergies that worked much better than any other I had taken. He even scheduled follow-up visits, checked in with me, and talked my options through with me when the maintenance drugs just weren't doing quite enough. We decided that, under my current circumstances, doing allergy shots might be best. I have been receiving them for a few months now, have had no complications or problems, and am actually beginning to notice some differences in my health.
