I've noticed that if an instructor has an empty class, they'll slide over and help out in another lane, which is really nice. It's not cheap, but it's priced fairly relative to other local swim schools, and unlike some of the other options around town they don't pack every lane with four kids. read more

We had an awesome birthday party for our daughter at the Aliso Aquatic center & Premier swim academy! Our daughter turned five and wanted a Barbie all pink everything party. They accommodated our requests and made the party so easy to setup and host. Coach Michael helped with the setup and even made a special appearance at our make shift Photo Booth. The kids had an absolute field day with all of the open space and option to swim or sit in the hot tub. It was reasonably priced and easy to host a lot of kids and their parents. I have nothing but great things to say about Premier. First, they fixed a scheduling glitch in the system very fast & got my son's lesson rescheduled. My son is 12 and had chronic ear infections so he couldn't swim a lot as a smaller child. He was uncomfortable in the pool & very nervous about putting his head under water but wanted to learn to swim. In 6 lessons, his fear is gone, his confidence has grown, and he has progressed rapidly. Coach Dorsa is THE BEST! She knows the exact amount of push & patience with him. He loves her & responds quickly to her. She updates me after every session with goals for next session! I have had nothing but great experience with management, coaches & the overall program. Premier Aquatics in Aliso Viejo is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, supportive and sweet to the kids. We have had many coaches work with our kids, and every one of them has been amazing. The heads of the location - Michael and Tristan - are tremendous and they seem to inspire and expect a spirit of positivity and sweetness for all of the staff. Our girls were very worried on day 1 of swim lessons, but Michael jumped in and helped out a coach to make our girls more comfortable and successful. Where should I start?! My son (4) was terrified of the water and getting his face wet. We started lessons at premier aquatics in the summer and now it's a struggle to get him OUT of the water. My son LOVES coach Nate, and it has been amazing to watch him become more comfortable in the water while learning how to be safe too! The entire staff is amazing, both at the pool and when I have to call to reschedule or rebook. I love how they have set curriculum so as my son moves up the levels, there is consistency. The staff at premier aquatics makes it so fun to learn to swim. During Halloween, his coach wore a Spider-Man mask in the pool because my son had told him he was dressing up as Spider-Man! During each holiday, they have had themed activities on the pool deck that make our weekly lessons so much fun! Warning Their Coaches experience are so poor and like amateur. I used to a swim coach other places some of coaches have experience, But most of them are so poor experience to teach kids. Like waist of time and money. You can go Gold fish is much better than here. Their coaches got trained and have enough experience. Who knew I'd need swimming lessons late in life after age 50, but here we are! I was wanting to learn how to swim properly and start utilizing it as a daily low/no-impact workout. I found Premier Aquatics, and based on other reviews I booked adult lessons with Nate. He is highly recommended by parents on here and their website, so I contacted him asking if he taught adults and of course he's taught all ages. Sign-up was very easy online, and the pool in Aliso Viejo is very nice and heated comfortably. Not a good experience for our kiddo and others in the group of 3. The instructors were not good at communicating with the kids and had kids crying every class. The instructors appeared inexperienced and lacked skills to calm and explain to the kids what they were doing. We will not be returning. Very in depth course that was broken up with witty banter. Definitely a lot more stumulating than an online course. Started my kids (3) here early summer (Aliso viejo) Pros: Some nice instructors One-ish nice manager I like that they try to teach you how to not to drown. Nice location, stuff for othe kids to do, can spend the day here Cons: Mostly rude and unhelpful management They talk about your concerns dismissively in front of you. Complete lack of respect While most (most) instructors are nice, a great number don't know how to deal with children who might not fit the mold of a typical child. My youngest didn't move up any level in our 3.5 months here. My second youngest even after private lessons has barely improved. My eldest is the only one who moved up a proper level. Very limited in the number of lessons available at the same time when you have multiple children to juggle We had one instructor who would dunk my barely 3 year olds head under water without checking to see if she had her mouth closed. It traumatized my eldest to watch it. Caused repeated nightmares because the instructor clearly DGAF. OverAll, I regret the money I spent here. I wish I had spent it on private lessons with experienced (honestly older) instructors. read more

After few month staying in waiting list one day they called me and left me a message that I have time till 5pm to call them back to keep my kid's spot. I called them at 7pm. Next day they called me saying sorry we gave up your spot to someone else. Such arrogant... what do you think!? This is a nice hidden area of Aliso Viejo that feels like a resort! $5 for Aliso Viejo Residents. $12 for a family of 5 AV residents. It'd be nice if it were free for AV residents. There are 3 main areas: lap pool, fountain kiddy pool and an oval pool with a jacuzzi next to it. Each area has plenty of tables with umbrella shades and lounge chairs. There is also a snack bar that sells fries, chicken tenders, drinks, bagged chips, etc. Fries were $3 (pricey for the amount you get). There is a golf course right by the pool so the view is very spacious. There is also some country club next to it and was hosting a wedding one time when we went. But you couldn't really hear any music or anything. Parking is plenty. You can bring your own swim toys. The workers are nice. You can also take swimming lessons here and host birthday parties for a fee. The 3 middle lanes of the lap pool (think the total is 5 or 6) are supposed to be for laps only but often times kids were taking the lap lanes just playing around. Overall, it is a nice place to visit to get some sun and pool time. read more

Terrible experience with group lessons. The expectation to have children sit and do nothing at the age of 3 while waiting their turn to swim is ridiculous. Over the course of 10 minutes my daughter was scolded and told by 4 different staff members to sit still, not to move, and was ultimately told to sit outside of the pool to wait her turn. What was she doing? Putting her face in the water and laying on the stairs. Shame on anyone who berates, scolds, and punishes little children for being children. Disgusting. read more

We do private lessons. All teachers we have had are skilled and very professional -- and makes swim lessons fun and enjoyable. The pool is warm and deck is clean. Showers are available with heated change rooms, so we are staying the whole year. Right now the snack bar is closed due to pool renovations but when it's open, you can grab a healthy affordable snack right after lessons! read more
