My son went to this shop yesterday and was quoted a price of $470 to replace his rear brakes. When…read morethe woman at the shop called him the next day to pick up the car she said that the cost of the repairs was $702. I called the shop and they said that they priced it wrong and that was the price. She later goes on to tell me that the price she gave my son was an estimate. That is a 49.4% increase from the price my 20 year old college student was quoted, Why bother to give estimates if your off by 50%. When I challenged her on the increase she said if I wanted to get my son home safe that was the cost. Why did they not disclose the 49.4% increase in the quoted price prior to doing the repairs. She then slammed the phone and would not answer when I called back. This place is baiting and switching and if you have college students in Lewisburg PA that need their car repaired do not send them here. They prey on vulnerable young kids with out of state plates.
