I called the shop and they said that they priced it wrong and that was the price. She later goes on to tell me that the price she gave my son was an estimate. That is a 49.4% increase from the price my 20 year old college student was quoted, Why bother to give estimates if your off by 50%. When I challenged her on the increase she said if I wanted to get my son home safe that was the cost. Why did they not disclose the 49.4% increase in the quoted price prior to doing the repairs. She then slammed the phone and would not answer when I called back. This place is baiting and switching and if you have college students in Lewisburg PA that need their car repaired do not send them here. They prey on vulnerable young kids with out of state plates.

We took a work truck there a few years back for the tire swap and decided to have an inspection done at the time. They told us they would do the tires but wouldn't pass the inspection. We got the tires done, took it to a local garage, and passed inspection. Take it with a grain of salt, know what you have, and adjust accordingly. Yes, I highly recommend.

Well needless to say my children and I were all safe. it was very scary to say the least. We pulled over to gas Station in Milton PA, and called the insurance company when we seen all the damages to our vehicle we knew we couldn't travel any further in our own. So our insurance guy got us in touch with CPR Auto Center LLC. We had no clue what was what, where we were, nothing secure in getting home. I spoke with Dave and he was amazing I had no idea he was the owner but he talked with me, text me to make sure we were ok mind you it was Labor Day. No Rental place was open. Dave sent tow truck to tow our vehicle to BOSTON, MA 3 and a half hours away plus he sent a loaner rental so we could go pick up a rental car but where the insurance company thought one was opened 30 minutes away. There was no rental company in site. So we notified CPR ( Dave) and advised them we had to take the vehicle to Boston and the tow truck driver I think Chris was his name which by the way was hearing impaired and was excellent by the way. If it wasn't for these guys/ this company my children and I wouldn't have arrive home safely. Thanks so much Dave and Richard for the excellent customer service and allowing us to use your vehicle. This review is for the "service" that my grandmother received recently at Hawkins Service Center…read moreand the interaction with ther Service Manager, Chris. For the 2nd year in a row, they found an "issue" that apparently HAD to be repaired before passing the annual inspection on her Cruze. Last year, it was a leaky valve cover. $300 later, and they passed the inspection. Part was less than $10 at any online retailer, which makes over 1.5 hours of labor at their $155/hr rate. Highly suspicious. This year, they call her with an $875 bill for a leaking oil filter housing gasket, which they stated had to be completely replaced. This part was between $65-130 online, so... 4 hours of labor? Brah. She has been a faithful Chevrolet owner since the 60's. I remember her bringing home a 1985-ish Chevrolet Celebrity in the worst green color imaginable. that car ran forever. Treating long standing customers with high pressure sales in a repair environment, trying to convince them that there is no alternative is terrible, and on about the same level as those that scam the elderly online and over the phone. I'm glad that I happened to have been home visiting when this happened to send her to an actual reputable garage to get it looked at. Remember that there are other dealers that have the make or model you want, and that can do whatever service you need. Shop around and stay away from these rip-off artists.
