I specifically asked the little guy that quoted the job about seeing the discoloration between their filler and the concrete already there and he responded that they did a really good job of matching the concrete and the discoloration would be minimal. Well its not so we decided we would paint the concrete to cover it. I am totally disappointed. You can see every crack they fixed. I thought $4700 was very reasonable to do the job we needed doing. Now I know why. They came in here and in 3 hours did a job that I thought would likely have taken 2 days. Like I said, the cracks are mostly fixed, with the exception of one that they are going to have to do over, and for that I am thankful, but Im not at all happy with the finished product simply because I feel it was grossly misrepresented. I definitely would not have spent that amount of money for this.

The issue still persists and they actually damaged my property in the process, eventually they just stopped responding. They washed out concrete in my drains, forgot to install the drainage tile, installed the drains in the wrong spot and right next to my foundation, cut the direct TV line, and left the space a mess. If that all wasn't enough, the quality of the work looks really rough. The grate drain wouldn't even drain because they filled it with concrete as well. Even if I had to pay extra to go with a different company, I definitely would have done it.

Lux Foundation Solutions recommended one thing: replace the basement door. That's it. (And they don't even do doors!) What impressed me most was that Chuck Koach, Lux's Foundation Specialist, assessed things the others didn't. He checked the walls using a moisture meter, thoroughly examined existing interior drain and sump pump systems, inspected crawl spaces for water issues, and checked inside and out for foundation concerns. I've read online that they do excellent work, but all they wanted to talk about was their competitors. If I had a nickel for every time I heard about "the other guys," I could possibly afford their newest "absolute best price we can do." Not a fan. Just tell me the price, tell me what you do, and cut the gimmicks.
