I was gifted a facial for my birthday! My sister bought it ahead of time and when I got there things went from great to amazing. First of all: Location- the place was easy to find following a GPS. Its a cute little cottage looking spa, and I like that better than the typical Strip Mall approach. Mary Cutcher: she was my esthetician and she was truly great. Once she found out I was pregnant, she realized several of the services included in the package my sister bought were not suitable for me. She gracefully took a step back to think and then replaced the services to those that best fit my condition. She was gentle, thoughtful and thorough. Fair warning, she's the straight to the point type (which I like), so if you like your professionals to sugar coat things and to be full of endless chit-chat, she may take you off guard at first. I am so impressed by her management of my super broken out face. Usually facials leave me swollen and red, I had no swelling and the red went away quickly. Today (1 day later) my face looks well on its way to recovery! No excessive breakouts from yesterday's extractions. Which is amazing because usually my face after a facial gets worse before it gets better. Price: I've dealt with acne my whole life, which means I've had my share of estheticians through my adult life. Each with their flaws and virtues. From this experience alone, I'd say Mary is at the top of my list. Her price is competitive in his market and her knowledge and approach makes the price well worth it. Finally: NO ENDLESS SELLING PITCH! I hate it when I come out of a spa treatment and estheticians can't stop selling me all of their amazing products. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Mary was clear she couldn't possibly extract everything in one session and gave me the price for a follow up. Then, she dropped the subject. Wow! What an experience! I thought I was just getting a massage and a facial. Mary listened to what I had to say about my ailments and the issues with my skin and catered to my needs. Started to take time for me and decided to get a facial. I had several in the past few months by Mary. I don't know if there are enough words to express how phenomenal they are.
