Premier Funeral Services was so wonderful as we put our mother to rest. The hospital recommended them to us and we could not be more grateful. Not only were they extremely compassionate and understanding they went so above beyond. They literally helped us through everything even beyond the funeral - both with insurance companies and the hospital. We had two services - one in Utah and one back East. Jared and his team helped coordinate everything including working with the funeral home in Boston. They helped with all the forms needed. But more importantly they are so kind and nice. They truly make you feel like your family is their family. Under such difficult circumstances I could not imagine a more professional and loving funeral home. Words cannot describe what a wonderful experience my family and I have had working with Premier. The staff has an incredible way of making you feel comfortable and at peace with every step of the process. With everything that is done there is a reason for and explanation for it. I respect what the Funeral Director tells me and trust them completely. The cosmetics were beautifully done and looked flawless. There are many extra steps they took to insure my mother looked her best. I've noticed that Premier takes pride it what they do and you can truly tell it is something that they are passionate about. The funeral services were a wonderful tribute to my mother. The recordings of the funeral are done for FREE. They were kind enough to even offer this service and made sure to tell me that although they will do the recording they cannot promise it will work... which is understandable. If you want to make sure the recording works use your iPhone. We are all human! We do the best we can. I loved that they were kind enough to even think of this service. With everything they do and how easy the process was for me this was one of the last things I expected. Disregard any negative comment you read. This is a hard and difficult time for people and others like to take their anger out at the people that are helping them the most. Mr. Fairbanks came personally to our home and spoke soothing and comforting words. He laid out the plan for the funeral, etc. and we signed up. When it came time to dress my loved one, he very smoothly talked me out of it so the first time I saw my loved one was 1 hour before the funeral. He had assured me that we could have an open casket service. This turned out not to be the case. The cosmetics were atrocious. There was no way. The funeral service was adequately executed by Premier Funeral Services in a distressing and overwhelming time. All that aside, the most disturbing part of working with this company is that we were promised time and again that we would receive a recording of the funeral service and graveside dedication within 4 to 6 weeks. No less that a dozen calls have been made and they smooth-talk me down every time, promising that the recording is forthcoming. It has now been 5 MONTHS and we still do not have it.
