If I could give zero stars, I would. I have spent almost $15,000 (in total to my new accountant and bookkeeper) in rectifying mistakes made by the bookkeepers at this firm in 2020 and 2021. Pandemic funds and other items were listed in the wrong area, adversely affecting my books and taxes in 2022 and now in 2023, where my new accountant is working with the new bookkeeper (5 months after taxes were to be filed) to correct the egregious mistakes made by this firm in 2020 and 2021. A lot of young people are employed by this firm to be bookkeepers, but it seems the supervision by experienced CPA staff is lacking. This firm was recommended to me; not sure what the basis of the recommendation was. Maybe they received service when the firm was smaller and the owner managed her accounts. I left this firm at the end of 2021, and voiced my displeasure once their mistakes were first identified. Their incompetency continues to be a costly, living nightmare for me! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. First, it took almost a month for my taxes to be completed. They were incorrect in many ways to the point we had to make an adjustment in the office the day I was supposed to sign them. This should have been my first clue of incompetence. Then I receive a bill in June from the MD Comptroller's office stating that I owe more than what was filed on my taxes. When I bring this to Joye and her teams attention. I don't hear from them for weeks. She goes on vacation for three weeks with no follow up response from the Comptroller's office. Now I am past my deadline for payment and will have to pay additional late fees. AVOID this business at all cost. They do not know what they are doing. In addition, effective, and timely communication with sensitive matters are not a priority. read more

I wish I would have read the prior review on this company. The customer service is lacking- you can make contact via an online system in which you may get an emailed response that really doesn't answer the question you posed. I believe they promised services that were never rendered even through there was an agreement via an engagement letter. If you are looking for business consulting or advise, this is not the firm that can assist in moving your business to the next level. It was promised, but not something that this business seems to have the capacity to produce (in my case). I understand having to tweak your process as a business, but after a decade I would assume that there would be some platform for a doable stream of communication. I complained a few times as you will get a invoice in the middle of the night stating that it was due immediately- sometimes reflecting incorrect charges, yet there would be no way to make contact for clarification of the charges billed. I believe I disengaged by the third month which reflected in how I engaged them. If you do go with this firm, do hold them accountable for the services offered and accepted via your engagement level. It just seemed too difficult and it shouldn't be so hard. The idea is to find a firm that make your accounting tasks easier, and a act as a resource for your business accounting needs. I actually left the firm feeling a bit ripped off. You will get an invoice but not necessarily the service you either needed, desired, or agreed to. 07/01/17 UPDATE- I'm with a new accounting firm, and I am beyond happy. If you plan on using this company I highly recommend you have them discuss the terms and conditions of their services that is not in their agreement that you sign. I am very disappointed in this company that they did not disclose specific fees to me that were very important and I had to learn the hard way. They lack good customer service also. read more

We have been very happy with the accounting services that we receive from Premier Group. They are experts in governments contracting, 8(a), and WOSB. Sometimes you may have to wait a bit for a response as they are a small firm, but once they get back to you, you will receive expert attention. read more
