OK lets be fair. For a start I am a fan of Premier Inns. Stayed in many now and Londonderry rates in my top five. Before booking in I received an email to let us know that there was a shortage of staff and some this could have some repercussions on our two nights stay. Other than a longish wait at reception to check in, we were behind two couples. The guy was up to his neck in work and had been called to the restaurant. To us, no problem. But to a rather loud hen party, it was. The room we had was ground floor and massive with everything we could need. We had asked for extra pillows which were delivered almost immediately. A wonderful two nights although I would advise that anyone, on a weekend should avoid rooms on the ground floor, near the entrance. The continual slamming of the door and the noise (from the hen party returning) made our first night almost sleepless until about 2.00 am. However, the second night, a Sunday, was perfect and quiet. Its not the hotel, it's the guests in most cases. A plus in the Derry Premier is that they have a wonderful bar on site. Great stay. I will mention the Brewers Fayre in another review. read more
