This place is pretty good for a Premier Inn, it has a restaurant and plenty of space for us (we came as a group for a convention) to hang around in the evening before retiring to our rooms. Staff is friendly.
The room does not have a wardrobe, just a few hangers and hooks. We asked for more hangers (there wasn't a lot to begin with, and one ring is missing the hanger part) and they didn't have any. But other than that, not much to complain about. There is fridge, microwave and kettle. Room service is upon request.
A full 10 stars for the location. Tesco is nearly, plenty of restaurants within easy walking. The fish and chips place Fishy Plaice is excellent, so is the Bangladesh place Cha and Nasta. On Wed and Sat you will find the market, oldest in England, right on the street up front.
From Heathrow, a bus drops you off almost to the doorsteps, for just GBP3. It does take the scenic route, a good 2+ hours for us, but if you don't want to take the train this is a good option. read more
