I called the next morning and easily made a same day follow-up appointment at the Mullica Hill location off 322. They share systems with Inspira, so my medical records were already in the system. I obviously couldn't walk very well, and their office staff were empathetic and patient with me as my aunt helped me navigate and fill out the paperwork. I didn't wait long at all for my appointment and Dr. Catalano was straight to the point. He let me know off the bat that I didn't need surgery as it was a clean break and gave me the option of either a cast or a boot. I, of course, chose the boot. He also recommended a knee walker, which I used for the first few weeks after the injury and turned out to be dramatically helpful. Crutches suck. I was out of state visiting family when the injury happened, so I didn't have any follow ups with them, but there weren't any hoops to jump through to get my records sent down to my local orthopedic. I'm glad to say that, as of a few days ago, I've graduated from physical therapy and finally am fully back on my feet!

This was less than 36 hours after I ended up in the emergency room and the ER staff decided I needed to have emergency gall bladder surgery. The second time I saw Dr. Neff was the morning after my surgery when he kindly showed me graphic pictures of what a pre-gangrenous gall bladder looks like. He described how my surgery ended up being far more serious than originally expected due to the seriousness of my gall bladder. Bad gall bladder, bad bad gall bladder. The third time I saw Dr. Neff was a few weeks after the surgery. I walked in, and was in the room and being checked over by him and out of my appointment by the time the actual appointment was supposed to take place. WHO DOES THAT. He's very kind, very caring, knows his gall bladders and treated me with utmost diligence. I'm so glad he was my surgeon.
