Huge bruise. On my ass. Intense pain. Leg in a brace, crutches for eight weeks. F****************** my life. Mid-America Rehab to the rescue! After I healed for a few weeks, I started physical therapy with the great people there. They spent two hours twice a week working to fix my leg, and their hard work paid off and is greatly appreciated. My sessions started with a soft tissue massage, then an ultra sound massage, then stretching, followed by electrotherapy. The only part that really hurt me is when they had to try and break up the scar tissue and I had to roll around on a tennis ball... just miserable. The people at MAR made a bad experience a little bit better and were always kind and devoted to my recovery. Definitely count on them if you need physical therapy!

So I decided it was time to get some professional help to resolve the issue, as well as relief from the pain. Dr. John was listed as a chiropractic provider thru my insurance, so i gave him a call. He was able to see me right away. I had a history of rib and facial fractures just a few months prior, so I was concerned that traditional manual chiropractics might not work for me. He took x-rays, was very thorough with H&P, and was able to help me using his computerized diagnostic and adjusting device. This thing was high tech and amazing! It actually displayed the images on the screens (one for him and a little one for you too see; as you are bent over during the procedure).
