She sent the release form, I filled out and sent back May 21st, she said they would arrive early in the week of May 25th via usps. I am recovering from spine surgery and the treatment I have received since June has been great. Dr Sam checks in with me each time that I see him to discuss my progress and has suggestions on things I can do at home to help with my recovery. The physical therapists, Terra and Karisa, are very knowledgeable, give awesome massages and also monitor my progress. Katelyn and April guide me through each exercise with care. They reassured all was in the clear and would be covered 100%. Got a bill for $500+. Went in again assuming there was a mistake. The same exact man that confirmed my insurance was contracted, said he recalls the conversation but needs to speak with billing to see what can be done. "The best we can do is half." Poor service, poor management, poor billing! Seems like a lot of people don't stick to their word anymore

This was without my insurance information (which does not require referrals, even for a specialist). A doctor's office which allows reception to deny an appointment has a serious ethical problem. Should anything adverse occur before I am able to see the doctor because of his receptionist.... well, I've instructed my attorney to take appropriate action, and he does take this seriously. Dr. Geisler claims to be a psychiatrist, a psychiatrist who refuses an appointment for no justifiable reason may have a lot of explaining to do. In the meantime I've contacted my doctor from out of state, who was appalled that I was refused an appointment.
