Both surgeries were successful and I am now able to resume a normal way of life. Great team!!!! Thanks also too, Jenny, who was the surgical coordinator and did an amazing job making sure that my appointments and surgery went as smoothly as possible. She's an extra star in their team. KWOC's personnel were always courteous and helpful.

Title: A Nightmare Experience--Listen to Your Instincts and Seek a Second Opinion…read more I chose Dr. Stolarski for my April 2024 knee replacement based on his reputation and promised technology. Unfortunately, my experience was the worst of my life. Pre-Op & Concierge Fees: I was not allowed to speak with Dr. Stolarski until the week before surgery. He dismissed my pre-op MRI, stating he only needed to know I was "bone on bone." I requested a titanium knee, not a "smart knee." During this time, his staff suggested a $10,000 out-of-pocket "concierge fee" if I wanted faster appointments and direct access to the doctor who was operating on me. I declined. On surgery day, Dr. Stolarski never checked on me pre-op, post-op, or spoke to my family in person. Months of Dismissed Pain: Immediately, my home therapist noticed my knee would not bend. For months, I suffered from severe pain, swelling, and heat." It took 5 months of exhausting physical therapy to get my knee to bend but the severe pain and tightness remained. Despite a normal MRI at 8 months and bone testing at 12 months I was dismissed, told I had "anxiety," and that everything was "perfect!" I begged Dr. Stolarski and his PAs for help with finding cause of the pain. In August 2025, a medical assistant--not the medical team--suggested metal testing. I paid to expedite bloodwork through a Chicago lab and discovered a nickel allergy. In October 2025, Dr. Stolarski coldly told me if I wasn't better now, I never would be, and suggested a total revision. The Truth Found Out of State: In January 2026, I sought a second opinion in Atlanta. Within 15 minutes of looking at new X-rays and my metal testing results, that surgeon revealed the truth: my knee was overstuffed (too big), the kneecap was too thick, and despite my requests for titanium, the implant was made with nickel. Recovery: I had a knee revision in Atlanta in January, 2026. On day one, I could sit in a chair with my knee bent at 90 degrees. Five months post-op, I am hiking mountains in North Carolina completely pain-free. Dr. Stolarski's office either completely missed glaring issues on my X-rays or chose to ignore them. To them, you are just a number. If you are hurting after your knee replacement and being dismissed in Florida, trust your gut and leave the State for a second opinion.

If anybody ever needs an Orthopedic Surgeon I cannot say enough good things about Jonathan M Koscso…read moreat KWOC. He is a wonderful surgeon, magical tiny hands, great bedside manner, takes time w/ the patient, answers all questions. When Dr. Koscso was showing me pics of my hardware and explaining my surgery he reminded me of a young child playing with an Erector Set. A classic metal construction toy invented by Alfred Carlton Gilbert (1884-1961) was a versatile American inventor, toy manufacturer, magician, and Olympic athlete. Dr. Koscso's excitement, enthusiasm and love for what he does definitely shines through.

Where do I begin? Do not go here as a new patient. This place can't handle the patients they have…read morenow. You will be waiting weeks, if not months for injections due to short staffing and the doctors all going on vacation at once. You have been warned! No problem getting an appointment. Once you walk in, you will see how there are too many patients and not enough staff. The staff is friendly. I will give them that. First attempt at a nerve block injection. First appointment 3/10/26. MRI was ordered and done. 2nd appointment 3/27 and nerve block injection ordered. 4/6 called insurance. Nothing received from doctor. Called doctor and left message. Called again 4/15. Now the ball is finally moving. Injection scheduled 4/22. Had to wait for this date due to everyone on vacation. Almost 1 month for the injection. It gets better! Follow up visit 5/14. I was told I can get 3 injections in 6 months. Great! I was ordered my second injection. At this time, the doctor said I don't need to be seen again unless another injection or anything else comes up. Great!! During this time I have started PT and pain is pretty bad, so I'm using the pain medication. Waiting on the 2nd injection, I run out of pain medication on 6/12. Almost 1 month waiting for my injection. No return call. I have to wait to call again 24-48 hours. I call again on 6/17. I finally get a call back stating I need to see the doctor before I can get a refill! WHAT? If I got my 2nd injection in a timely manner, I probably wouldn't need the medication. The lady now calls to schedule my injection for 7/1. I asked if they could do any sooner since my insurance is rolling over and I have to pay deductibles. I told her to hold that spot in case she couldn't get anything sooner. Received a call today that there were no earlier appointments and the lady I spoke with yesterday booked up the 7/1 date. I now have to wait until 7/29 to get a back injection because yet again the doctors are on vacation. Now I have to pay my copay to see the doctor to get pain pills until my injection. Is this even legal??? After my treatment is completed, I will never set foot in this office again. This is not how you treat your patients.
