Here's the full story: I contacted PR on a Mon, they thoroughly inspected/photographed the damage Wed morning, by Wed late afternoon they sent a detailed estimate and contract that I signed and made a deposit, and they did the cleanup Thu and Fri. The 3 person cleanup crew were top notch - they cleaned and disinfected *everything* except as agreed the contents of cabinets (which the rats thankfully hadn't gotten into) and the laundry. That being said, to give us peace of mind, they disinfected/cleaned bedroom dresser drawers and cleaned out the content of our coffee table drawer in which the rats got into. They also disposed of all garbage and our hideaway-bed mattress and box-spring which they advised to toss since the rats had gotten between the mattress and box-spring. The crew was great about communicating with me as they worked, sending me photos with questions.Through their hard work, the transformation was amazing. I moved back in after 5 days during which I dried our rugs, pillows and cleaned off the disinfectant in major areas. None of our nice, wood furniture was harmed by the disinfectant and it was easy to get off with a little soap and water. For our bedroom laminate floors, after some trial and error, I got the disinfectant off by mopping with vinegar and water. I spent the following 1.5 weeks restoring internet and web cameras (they ate through the ethernet cable), plugging the holes where the rats got in, continuing to clean the cleaning, and doing a zillion loads of laundry and started to wash all our cabinet's dishes.I felt our place was completely back to normal when I returned to the mainland a week later. Premier Restoration Hawaii is an amazing company!! Our housing complex was left with a unit that was contaminated with pourus throughout the unit. The tenant had recently passed and no one could enter the unit. The leasing office was instructed by MFD to contact Premier Restoration company for assistance. We called immediately and the very next day, Premier Restoration Hawaii was out here cleaning up the mess. The family of deceased was able to get into the unit and go through their loved ones belongings in 4 days after disinfecting the unit. Because we are a housing complex we were concerned at the cost we would be charged, because the tenant had passed and no family could foot the bill. The housing complex had requested the disinfecting and the removal of any items that may have been infected with pourus. Once Premier Restoration removed those items and cleaned the unit, We were awaiting the invoice for the clean up, and we did not receive any invoice. About a week later Premier Restoration Hawaii called the housing complex and informed the office they would complete the job PRO BONO. We were elated!!! Aulia was so wonderful she really worked hard to get us the assistance we needed considering the circumstances surrounding the reason for their assistance. Our neighbors water heater busted and and caused a big leak into our condo. Premier Restoration made this process absolutely SEAMLESS. From day one they sent the mitigation team out to dry our condo with fans, dehumidifiers, and accessed the moisture daily, they then removed and treated the area for mold and water damage. The Reconstruction team magically came in right after and started repairs immediately. This company really does everything and all you have to do is sit back and watch your damaged home transform into better condition than before. The Maui Staff and Crew of Premier Restoration Hawaii did an INCREDIBLE job to address the mold mitigation and reconstruction of our kitchen that was less than 10 years old. What was an intense feeling of shock, disgust and fear of the extent of the water leak was soon alleviated by the calm of Aulia, project coordinator throughout the process and followed by the competent and courteous team of professionals for the next 24 days - Jason who assessed the scope of damage. Nick & Jacob the "miracle workers" who ensured the 16 ft. run of the granite was braced/shored securely to avoid any break - whew.....along with the crew that removed the lower cabinets to prepare the kitchen for the installation of the fans that ran 24 hours for 10 days for the mold mitigation process. We had a hot water pipe leak causing damage to flooring, drywall and the removal of a shower. We contacted Premier Restoration as soon as we realized we would have a lot of work to fix the damage. We were put in touch with Sandi, who is fantastic. She sent a team out right away and they quickly removed the damaged flooring and drywall and set up all the equipment needed to dry the area. When we realized the shower needed to be removed we asked the team if they could remove it, as they had done such a efficient and professional job with the other work we knew they would manage to get the shower out without cracking a single tile that was overlaying the shower pan - and they did! We can't say enough about Sandi and the amazing team she sent to us in our time of need. They kept in contact and kept us up-to-date with tear-out work and drying process. This was so appreciated. In west Maui, we had a leak in our ceiling that needed a chunk of the ceiling to be removed, dried out and replaced. Premier came promptly to demo the drywall, remove the damaged insulation and dry out the ceiling. Then the fires happened and we didn't expect anything to happen for a while - our priorities were elsewhere. Eventually in September we were able to set a date for Premier to complete the restoration. The guys that came to patch it up were very professional and forthright with their timeline for the job. Yaka and Keith were kind and friendly faces that did an exceptional job replacing the ceiling, redoing the paint and matching the texture. You would never know there was a gaping hole there before. We're very happy with the job they did. Our only issue was with the communication from the company itself, our landlords had to hound them for a response to set up a date to come repair the ceiling, but Yaka and Keith showed up when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. Premier Restoration restored our home after a tree fell on it. They provided a turnkey solution from assessment, mold remediation, securing and storing contents, and rebuilding the damage. When dealing with the insurance bureaucracy, it was a huge value to have a single company provide a comprehensive solution. Back in December due to major flooding from rain, my vacation rental on Maui had water entering the master bedroom and the living room. I had guests staying there at the time. I called Premier Restoration (left a message late at night), hoping I would be one of the first people for them to help. So much of Maui was flooded. They came out first thing in the morning and put their dryers (3) in my condo. Long story short, they were on top of it and gave me wonderful service. It took about 4 to 5 days for the carpeting to dry. I was expecting a large bill since my daughter on the mainland had some water come into her bedroom and wet her carpeting (nothing major). Her charge, for just drying out that, for a day and a half was $2,500!! So I was shocked and very happy when my bill was $1,684.00. I highly recommend them if you have water intrusion. Premier recently completed a 9 month flood damage project in my home. The handling of the initial mitigation and asbestos challenges were impressive. As I was not able to get to Maui during the start of the COVID shutdown I hired a professional contractor our family had used frequently since the Iniki hurricane and would recommend the same for anyone else who can't over see their project personally. Premier used outside subcontractors for a number of things, that included painting, cabinetry, tile work, carpentry, etc. We did have some issues, which is normal, but were extremely impressed by their professionalism. Their outside cabinet worker and their carpenter were excellent. Aulia and Mark who we interfaced with the most were super and a great pleasure to work with. Maui Fire and Flood was had amazing customer service from start to finish. I had about 6 inches of standing water throughout my house which was discovered at around midnight. AJ took my call, and calmly let me know what I was about to be facing, since I have pergo. He sent out a crew the next morning to survey the damage and give me a time frame of everything that was about to happen. After that, Brandon and his crew came daily to check on the drying process, in the meantime giving me full updates along the way. They were so clean, and very upfront about all charges.
