He said he wasn't taken back until 9:30 and was a little (annoyed?) with the wait. I didn't have as long of a wait, maybe, 10 minutes. All the staff here were simply wonderful! We REALLY liked Dr. Urias! He was so friendly and personable. Dr. Urias listened to my story of my previous nightmare-of-an-office-experience and reassured me that this visit would be different. AND IT WAS! IT WAS WONDERFUL. I have complete confidence in his knowledge. My husband dropped his eye glass Rx next door at Eye Mart. So convenient! Glasses within an HOUR! But I was surprised with how well everything went! From pre-op to post-op, I was fully informed about the procedure and what to expect. The nursing staff at the surgery center professional, helpful and caring. The anesthesia was perfect with no pain or even discomfort. And Dr. Turner's skill and experience have given me the ability to see clearly without glasses for the first time since I was six years old!

The anesthesia didn't work properly! 2.5 years and multiple surgeries later we are left with an eye that cannot be seen out of well, eye drops every day, under the care of a glaucoma specialist for pressure issues every 6 mos, and a retina specialist every year. So much pain, loss of work, depression, and loss of activities where good sight is needed. Then after her surgery her eye kept hurting and Turner said it was normal and just prescribed her more pain pills. After a month we sought a second opinion. Turns out he cut so deep that she was loosing pressure in her eye. If she had not gotten a skin graph by this eye specialist she would have lost her eye. We checked with an attorney but due to Texas laws regarding medical malpractice all we would have gotten would have gone to the attorney. Now my wife's eye is doing worse possibly losing her eye. What ever you do DON'T use this doctor if you want to keep your eye.
