We attended a large multi-day soccer event (ECNL Florida), and Premier Sports Campus was up for the challenge of handling 200ish teams from all over the country. We've seen a lot of soccer complexes, and Premier is in the upper echelon. There is ample parking able to handle massive crowds without too much stress. The overflow areas surrounding the complex are thoughtful, and they allow decent proximity to almost any field. The grass surfaces were in great shape on almost all fields, even with some rain. Facilities overall were pretty good with decent and clean brick and mortar bathrooms available in the stadium area. There were a few good food trucks as well. The neighborhood surrounding the fields is pretty bougie and comfortable. I was able to find some good coffee and food nearby. Premier is a well-managed complex that avoids many of the pitfalls that affect big sporting events (looking at you, San Diego Surf Complex), so this complex is highly-recommended. read more

There is not too much that is "premier" about these fields....at least not yet. The Premier Sports Complex at Lakewood Ranch consists of 22 grass fields which can be used for a multitude of sports including soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, football, etc. Eight of the fields now have lighting for nighttime use. The grass is well manicured but my son, the lacrosse goalie, did not like playing on it as he thought the grass was too "slick" and he thought it made the ball bounce too unpredictably. Also, the fields are very close to one another and sometimes you can mistake whistles on nearby fields for your own game. We were at the Premier Sports Complex for a day long lacrosse tournament. My biggest problem with the place was the lack of amenities, especially a real bathroom! There were several port a potties placed throughout the fields. Needless to say, with several hundred people attending the event, they were absolutely disgusting.by midday. I made it a point not to drink anything throughout the day (not even my morning coffee) to avoid bathroom breaks. It was not until the very end of the day that our crew discovered that there actually was a bathroom. However, it was not right in the fields. It was at the very end of the parking lot, about a fifteen minute walk. It was easier to hop in the car and go to the Wawa down the street. We also had to run to the Wawa for lunch since there were no concession stands. I did hear that the plan is to build bathrooms and concession stands, but right now, a day at this field is quite uncomfortable. read more

The grass fields are well maintained and perfect for soccer. That earns three stars. Lots of lights here also. Great! In order to score 5 stars, High nets are needed behind goals to avoid balls flying into ponds and creeks. A large central covered area for concessions would be good in case of storms. More restrooms would also help. Most sports complexes have a main central tent, outdoor patio or clubhouse. Silverlakes Sports Complex in Norco, CA is a 5 star complex with main patio, concessions, dozens of bathrooms and full restaurant-bar. read more

The fields here were great for our recent trip to the USA Field Hockey Showcase...grass was well manicured and short...perfect for field hockey...though there were your normal bumps on the field which you can't really get rid of on grass. The port-a-johns are the primary restrooms, but they are constantly being cleaned so I had no issues with them (being a guy I usually don't anyway). The vast majority of the fields have lights here (though we didn't need them). Plenty of parking for this event and the attendants were pleasant and helpful with directions. Was disappointed in the food choices here - really don't think these athletes needed a fried Oreo booth, but we usually bring our own food in anyway. Athletic trainers on site were pretty good and there were plenty of water/Gatorade stations. I wish there were portable bleachers at the fields as it would have been nice to get off my feet. My one 'problem' with the even was they had some guy randomly flying a drone over the fields taking pictures or video...and we were told it wasn't approved by USA Field Hockey. The drone was loud and distracting...if the girls had known about it beforehand it wouldn't have been so distracting, but they started flying it in the middle of a game so it got annoying. read more

Premier Sports Campus hosted a Neon Vibe 5K Color Run. Well, it was more like a walk because 95% of the people walked. Not only did we have to dodge walkers for 3.1 miles, it was through a dark field, hardly any light. My wife tripped over a poly cone and injured her ankle because it was so dark on the field. The 5k distance wasn't even timed and they handed out warm bottles of water at the end and made you buy food. To top it off, they made you pay $10 for parking after you already paid to be in the race If Neon Vibe 5K color "walk" ever comes back here, think twice. read more

Great playing surfaces is about the only big plus for this sorts complex. Parking is in a gravel lot so don't wash your car a month before going here. Also, use the bathroom prior to arriving because facilities are limited to porter potties. Additionally, there aren't any lights so night games are out of the question. I guess there is no beating the heat! read more

The fields are in great shape, however there is nothing "premier" about the bathrooms (port-o-let)! Also there is absolutely nowhere to go if a thunderstorm rolls in... No idea how's that's possible in Florida? Spend some money on shelters and bathrooms! read more
