It wasn't a big job (the bathroom is small at just under 6'x6'), and I could tell he was trying to dissuade me from hiring Greystone. But I felt comfortable with both the price range and time frame, so he left to write up a proposal saying it would be two weeks before he sent it. After three weeks I emailed asking the status of the proposal. That's when he sent me the proposal with a price of over $17,000. Obviously he didn't want the job (too small), but instead of telling me he wouldn't do it, he decided to over-inflate all aspects of the job to get me to turn him down. Well, I didn't respond to his offense (which has been three months now), and Rob hasn't bothered to reach out to see if I wanted to sign the proposal. Obviously blew me off in an underhanded way; totally unprofessional.

We keep our litterbox in the basement, and after a litterbox mishap that occurred on the stairs, there was a lingering cat urine smell that we just couldn't shake after trying half a dozen products ourselves. ProTech was simple to schedule with, friendly and knowledgeable, super fast, and so much more affordable than the "big guys" in the carpet cleaning space. Several years ago I had D & R Flooring install wood flooring. Almost immediately there were…read moreproblems. All he ever wanted to try was cheap, quick fixes. I've been told by a couple of people that it was not installed correctly. There wasn't room allowed swelling and expansion. The wood planks were right against the drywall and an expansion board wasn't installed where two main rooms connect. I've been calling for over 9 months now with my calls being ignored and not returned. When I do actually get ahold of Don, it's nothing but excuse after excuse. I'm tired of company tripping over the bulge where the wood planks popped at least 6" above the floor boards. The company owner does not accept responsibility for poor installation and will do anything to avoid fixing it. He even lies and says he didn't know I was trying to get ahold of him. He did, once, stop by to look at the damage and said, "don't worry, it'll go back down". He has not scheduled anyone to come fix it, like it should have been installed in the first place.
