Had to stay in a room that hovered around a cosy 30-31 degrees Celsius day and night. The thermostat reading is from 3:30 am. The windows only open a sliver ( i suspect because they don't want anyone jumping when the guests' brains finally liquefy from being stuck in a brick oven and they seek to actually escape the hell in which they now find themselves). On the bright side, the staff are very kind and apologetic -- they should be commended for fielding what I'm sure are a ceaseless barrage of complaints only ending once the guests succumb to heat stroke. So, in summary, stay here if you wish to fulfill a fantasy of knowing what a slow broiled potato must feel like.

So I could not sleep well and you could hear the music all night. Day time is fine, just weekends are too much if you need to sleep.They do great discount too. Highly recommended!

The receptionist was very nice and helpful with our check in. They do not have an elevator, but the receptionist went above and beyond and helped me out with my luggage to the second floor. The room was clean and the bed comfy. It does not come with breakfast (I don't know if UK believes in continental breakfast), but they do have a little restaurant inside the hotel. When we were about to check out, the receptionist even offered to call a taxi for us, which was pretty convenient and charged probably about the same price than Uber.

Affordable rates Cons: 1. Teeny tiny bathroom. If you tried to turn in the shower, your elbow will for sure hit the wall. 2. If you're sitting on the can, you probably can't shut the door as there's no room for both of your legs and feet! The pros definitely outweighed the cons, so I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future if I'm looking for something cheap, convenient, and nothing too fancy.

My only downside is the fact that you could tell the building used to be used for something else and it shows in the rooms. The way the rooms are designed and painted kinda looks dingy in some areas, at least mine did. That said, I was very satisfied with the size of them. I also have to thank the hotel for helping me ace my Spanish exam, I had to take a spanish exam via skype to graduate from Glasgow uni and their wifi came in clutch. Beware that there is major construction taking place beside the hotel (student accommodation i think). Our view was of a building site which made my heart sink when we arrived. We were awoken at 7am with lots of hammering and drilling. Really unimpressed and disappointed that the hotel had not tried to place us in a room away from the construction. It was a Sunday night so assumed it wasn't too busy to do this. Luckily I had ear plugs as we didn't have the energy to phone and argue with the staff to get moved. The room was very spacious but to the point it felt a bit empty and souless. Gaping spaces in the room just felt unwelcoming. Plain decor with the exception of the bright carpet and bed head. Comfy bed and non-feather pillows which we prefer. Don't try checking in early as we discovered they turnaround the rooms very late. I arrived back at my room around 5.30 and the cleaning service was only then leaving. Very unusual. The air con was good as we stayed during unseasonably warm weather so nice to sleep in coolness. In terms of service, the staff seemed a bit distracted and didn't seem particularly helpful. My favourite part of the hotel is the spa which is located in another building opposite - very hot jacuzzi, with a cool small pool, and a warm small pool, with sauna, and steamroom. The sparkly lights were not on when we visited which i was disappointed with as the pictures on the website make it look really pretty. Also, they don't seem to have many padlocks for their lockers. My husband and i had to share a locker which was inconvenient being in separate changing rooms. It was a reasonable hotel but i wouldn't rush back and would certainly avoid until construction of student accommodation is finished!

Well because it gives you a taste of what it might be like to live in the city. An apartment here provides all the comforts of a residential flat. It is more relaxed and it really feels like you are in a residential building living in Manchester city centre. At least that is the feedback I got when I was there. It was the eve of a champions league game, a few friends from down south had come to watch th reds and I had kindly booked them here. We got talking to a few guys from Hong Kong who had just flown over for a few days, and there we were chilling in their living room talking politics, life and football. How random yet cool is that!! You really will have to get your diary out in if you want to stay here, the punters are turning up well in advance and doing the talking for the concept as a whole, and why shouldnt they. It really is a case of, here is your fully furnished room with all the comforts of your home now go do bit of shopping and get cooking the guests will be arriving soon!! The apartments vary in size sleeping upto 8 in the biggest one, how good is that?? If I remember correctly prices range from £60-£140 but considering the numbers which can sleep here it really is good value for money. Ideal scenario is your friends are coming for concert at the MEN. You book them in, stock up avec food and beverages, have a pre concert dinner/drink hoopla, arrive at concert in high spirits, go out afterwards and come back to the apartment to find you are well equipped for une grande finale after party. Aprez le boogey, crack open the sofa beds and voila upto 8 people can sleep in comfort. Not a bad plan eh? Just don't let your friends know, keeping them under the pretence it is all random, to get that random good night effect. I've got the tshirt to prove this works.... Now don't say I didn't yelp you about this!!! Booya!!

Amazing sleep, fantastic customer service, great toiletries.. (insert endless list of positives). A delight was a well-presented booklet that had an alphabetised list of things you might want to know, including taxi numbers, how to access the hotel wifi etc. Hassle-free stay, well worth the money. Mega recommend. If I find myself staying in Manch for a concert or something again, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

We stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday We experienced the friendliest of service from start to finish. Really cozy and warmly decorated common rooms for reading, happy hour, socializing, etc. Great breakfast! Even better room service. We enjoyed their room service food so much that we had them pack us a 'to go' for the train back to London. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Simple and very clean. The town of Didsbury is only a short walk away and has everything you need for a lovely spring weekend. We will def. be back the next time we head to the Theatre of Dreams. :)

Great location just across from Fletcher Moss, on a good bus route and ample parking. Has two sister hotels too.
