I've had five different vehicles serviced at this location through the years and I've never had an…read moreissue until this week. Monday, I drove up at 4:38 and asked for a state inspection. The mechanic tells me they stop doing inspections at 5:00 and there are two vehicles already checked in. Fair enough. I tell him I'll be back Tuesday. Tuesday at 1:15 I drove up and again asked for an inspection. The mechanic says they had a busy afternoon and he's about to leave for lunch. He tells me to come back in an hour. Fair enough. Everyone deserves a lunch break. I go back in an hour and one last time asked for an inspection. The mechanic tells me he's about to leave because he hasn't gone out to lunch yet. I asked him why he didn't just inspect my car when I was there before and his answer is "I didn't know I'd be staying". No sense of professionalism. No common courtesy. After years of doing business with this company all I got was apathy and attitude. Three different visits to this location in two days and I can't get a simple state inspection done. I will never bring any of my vehicles here again.

It's really one of the best places for an oil change. I've been coming here for years. They are known for their 10 minute oil change which includes topping off your fluids, and checking your air filters, tire air pressure, and other important vehicle systems. The only time it may take more than ten minutes is when there's a line or if you request additional services. I appreciate that they check things like air filters and will offer to replace them when needed, but they don't pressure me. Some things I like to do myself. The waiting room is not luxurious but it is clean (as are the restrooms) and pleasant. They offer self serve free coffee or water to customers. There is a TV if you want to watch. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable and competitive. After several oil changes, you get one free! They keep the records so you don't have to carry another card in your wallet or remember an account number. When the time comes you just get the pleasant news: "no charge today"!

I like that I was able to get a simple oil change at a great price. While you wait, step inside the Walmart and enjoy the air conditioning. There is a sitting area with a TV, or do some shopping to "kill two birds with one stone". The Walmart also has restrooms available. They also have a large selection of tires and car batteries at reasonable prices. The people who attended me were friendly and efficient. They got the job done quickly. What more could you want?

I appreciate their willingness to make it right. ***original post below**I usually brought my Silverado here, & since my Camry needed work, I brought it here instead of the dealership.My original complaint (and still current complaint) was the front end was wobbly upon braking & at 60 MPH. Also needed oil change. 1st visit: original complaint above and their recommendations were: Alignment $89.99; Brake fluid flush $76.90; Radiator plus hoses $406.49; engine air filter $32.96; cabin filter $43.94; valve cover & gasket $98.87; rear brake pads $85; resurface rear rotors $59; PCV valve $32.96 total after labor, taxes & hazmat $1761.71 and the thing still wobbles. 2nd visit for same problem: Front brakes $85; resurface front rotors $59; total after labor, taxes, & hazmat $250.88 ***Come to find out, they only test drove it on the street, & NOT on the highway like I stated in the original problem*** 3rd visit for same problem: NOW they test drive with me in the car, and see what I'm talking about. Now they tell me that ALL the rims are bent. Quote me $772.96 for new rims. Not doing it. I have been completely and utterly robbed of my ability to choose repairs needed for my situation. Family has 2 vehicles. I drive my son to & from school 13 miles one way everyday. Because they did not listen to me & test the car on the highway originally, I am going to have $200 more in gas costs a month since I will have to drive my truck & not the car. If they did it right the first time, I could have decided to wait on all the extra repairs above & beyond what my main issue was. Now, I don't have that option.

Until then they said now it won't shit off and wanted to charge us more to figure out why. Obviously, they crossed wires somewhere. Today after being overcharged for the work they did ( lack of a better term) we got the jeep back. They left the washer fluid tank out, they didn't put the dashboard back on! AND... the horn, lights, and signals don't work now!

They provide a complimentary inspection process on every vehicle. The shop is completely visible from the lobby with a big glass wall and you can watch their technicians work on your vehicle the entire time. The lobby is very well kept, comfortable seating, big screen TVs, and complimentary water. The team is incredibly nice and transparent, they are always on top of the services they provide.

I was having issues with a low tire. Kept putting air in it, but my tire pressure light would keep…read moreturning back on. Finally, I noticed a screw stuck in it, so I took it to Firestone on University. They checked it out and told me it didn't pierce through, so I was good to go. The whole thing took about 40-45 minutes or so and they didn't charge me a thing. I was SO grateful! I wasn't clear on why my tire pressure was dropping if it hadn't pierced through, but I trusted them. I told them if I'd had cash on me, I would've at least tipped them. They said just to write a positive review as thanks, which I planned to do... until the tire pressure light turned back on the next day and my tire was nearly flat. A coworker recommended I try Rios Fix a Flat on Monte Cristo instead of going back to Firestone and I'm now in love with their service! I was shocked when the mechanic at Rios showed me the tire with the SAME screw STILL in it! Firestone guys didn't even bother taking it out!! Rios took 15-20 minutes and actually fixed my issue. From now on, I'm taking all of my tire business to Rios and you should, too! :)
