For the most part, I really like Mirabel for this place since the prices are amazing. I always feel like I could get a bunch of stuff considering the currency conversion from USD to CAD was heavily in my favor. Every time we visit here, we always leave with a bunch of new purchases and a smile on our faces. read more

Premium Outlets Montréal - Shopping Centers Near Me - Mirabel, Quebec

This is one of a family of outlets from the Premium Outlets brand. This outlet is located about 45 minutes outside of downtown Montreal. The drive is easy during the morning as you are going against traffic. The outlet is on the smaller size compared to other locations. One unique store that caught my attention is the Moose Knuckles store. This is one of the well-known brands for winter parkas. It was great to see it here and knowing that I don't have to pay full price anymore. Other stores include the standard Nike, Under Armour, Banana Republic, etc. It is an excellent place to spend a few hours away from the city. read more

At first, it may look like a standard outlet mall, but there are some unique stores that other malls don't have. Two of them include Moose Knuckles and Pajar. Sure enough, those two were the most popular stores in the outlet mall, and in my opinion the only two stores one should visit. There were excellent deals in both stores, and I even managed a Moose Knuckles jacket for less than $400, which is almost unheard of. Not surprisingly with these outlet malls it gets busy. I went on a Sunday and it was busy, although parking wasn't a major issue (or did I get lucky?). The mall size is smaller than your typical American premium outlets; expect to finish the mall in about 2-3 hours, if that. read more

If you live in downtown Montreal, you will need to get a car to drive there. Public transportation will take you for ever. The outlet is nice and clean. You can find there well know brands at discounted prices that you can't anywhere else. I posted a picture of the store directory( ex: Gucci, Ferragamo, Max Mara, Lacoste, Polo). In addition, you can find the usual brands like CK, Nike, Adidas, Mk. Sometimes you can get discounts on top of the actual discount. Yes, it's amazing ! I go often there. I am always satisfied. Expect to spend there several hours. Therefore you will find the foodcourt very useful to grab a quick bite and rest. My favorite is Zouki's and Beignes D'Antan. read more

The only reason it is not a 5 stars is because not all the stores have great deals. My favourites are Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, The Bay, Lacoste, Coach, and Nike. The food court is convenient, although not that many options. Stay away from Panizza! The food is not good and they overcharge you. Discounts aren't all year round and they aren't consistent. I've been many times and certain items that were on sale last month get a bump up in price. It's very tricky. Stores not worth going to are: Banana Republic, American Eagle (Aerie), Garage(Dynamite), La senza, Desigual, Little Burgundy, basically any store that usually is already very cheap won't have good deals. It is kind of far away though, so make sure the trip is worth your money. Free parking though! read more

I've been a real fan of these Premium outlets for a long long time. They really are a great place to do some shopping and find some great deals. So when they opened one in Mirabel I was a bit skeptical of if it would fit the bill compared to other outlets I've visited. Yes folks it's the real deal. But keep in mind to add of the 15% provincial taxes here. This makes it not as great of a deal compared to the states: Minnesota, Massachusetts (which charge no tax on clothing) but for Montreal and Canada it's adequately acceptable. Most stores I visited today had 50-70% off which is cheaper than you will find anywhere in QC. Sure the ticket prices are inflated but prices are very reasonable for high quality brand name goods. The layout of the place is similar to many of the other east coast outlets: Jersey Shore, Chicago, Orlando (come to mind) with shops on both sides and a nice big centre atrium food court. There is a decent selection of food in the food court (Asian, shawarma, pizza, burgers) They really did a good job in designing the centre with long promenades and plenty of parking. There are roughly 10-20 empty stores that it will be interesting to see what they fill with. Definitely you see also that there is lots of land and opportunity to expand for a phase 2. The day I visited was a mild January day and it was fairly packed. In the summer this place is going to be absolute bedlam with shoppers looking for bargains. Come with tempered expectations as I find these outlet malls are hit or miss most of the time. Sometimes you are wowed with all the great deals, sometimes you walk away dissapointed and empty handed. read more

These are the worst Premium Outlets that I have ever been to!!! The deals are not even deals- i.e.: buy one, get one 30% off..... That is NOT an outlet deal... The only place that I have found decent deals is at Michael Kors and Coach... other than that.... NOTHING The American Eagle is great (because it is the only one in the area)... but the deals are the EXACT SAME as Carrefour Laval or downtown Montreal's stores. The Lindtt is also awesome...... but they only have deals on their chocolates that are about to expire!!!!!!!!! read more

Only go there if the weather is kind of nice. I went there when it first opened in the winter and it was horrid. The walking space was covered with ice and it was not inviting. But in the summer, it's actually really great to shop, enjoy yourself and the sales. My only concern is, I find it weird that the dinning experience is not better then this. If you shop Gucci, Hugo Boss and Max Mara are you going to pair that with a foot long sandwich? There is no really decent coffee place either. read more

I was so excited to finally go to the Montreal Premium Outlet Mall, but I have to say it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. I will preface this by saying that the day I went, it was pouring rain, and the whole mall lost power for like 10 minutes. I have tried not to let this influence my opinion of the mall because obviously that was not the mall's fault, but it is possible that I would have a more favourable opinion of the mall had I gone on a sunny and pleasant day. There's a Hudson's Bay outlet that I would consider cool if not for the fact that in Ottawa we have a similar place (it's still called Zellers though, but it's not like the old Zellers at all, it's essentially an outlet for The Bay). Admittedly, this Bay outlet has a greater quantity of "higher end" handbags (Marc Jacobs, Coach, Botkier, etc.) than the Ottawa location, but that's really the only difference. I was really hoping for a shopping experience I couldn't get in Ottawa. They did have a Cosmetics Company Outlet (which we don't have in Ottawa), and it was cool, but not as cool as the one in the Premium Outlet Mall in Cookstown, ON in terms of trial/travel sized items (which is what I love buying at CCO). They do have a Gucci outlet and a Salvatore Ferragamo outlet for the high rollers, lol. There's also a Sarah Pacini outlet which was pretty cool (most items were $75 for 1, or 2 for $100). Then there was a store called K-Way. Yes, K-Way the makers of the windbreakers that folded into a fanny pack that was oh so popular way back when, lol. Now the strange thing is that they had K-Way branded jackets towards the back of their store, but at the front they had designer clothes for women! There were a lot of one-of pieces and samples, but the prices were great. They had a Helmut Lang tank top for only $19 (sadly, not my size), and some Issa dresses for $59.99 (yes, Issa, as in the dress that Kate Middleton wore for her engagement photos Issa, lol), also not in my size. They had a lot of Kendall + Kylie pieces too (and these they had lots of sizes in the same style, not just random items). So I don't know if they are re-branding or what, but it was odd to have designer dresses next to K-Way packable camping jackets, haha. Anyway, I thought this was the coolest store in the whole mall! The food court was pretty limited (as is usually the case at these types of malls). They had a Zouki's (shawarma), Kung Pao Wok (Chinese), Umi Teriyaki (Japanese), A&W Burgers, and Pannizza (Pizza). There's also a Presse Café not technically in the food court, but right next to it. That's it. Those are your dining options! My husband and I were planning on going into Blainville and having lunch at a little independent Italian restaurant, but since it was bucketing rain and I was hangry, we ate at the food court. The hubster got a chicken shawarma at Zouki's and he said it was ok, but overpriced at about $9 for a small shawarma. I had a beef udon soup at Umi Teriyaki ($9.99) and it was not good. I'll spare you the details here, but if you're interested, I reviewed it under "Umi Teriyaki." Guest Services is in the food court and they have maps of the mall. They also provide free coupon booklets to CAA Members. I got one and the coupons are not spectacular. Most can only be used on regular-priced merchandise and the discount is minimal, like 10% off. Nonetheless, it's worth getting and taking a look if it's free. I personally would not pay for the coupon booklet though. I think this would be a nice place to walk around if the weather was nice. I didn't spot too many great deals and I walked away empty-handed though. read more

I have experienced outlets in the US and Europe and the Premium Outlets here just aren't as good. These ones are located all the way in Mirabel so it's at least a 40 minute drive from Montreal if there is no traffic. Once you're there you can expect lots of crowds which makes it difficult to find parking and translates into long line ups for changing rooms, cash, etc. I also find that the choice of stores pales in comparison to some of the other outlet malls I have experienced elsewhere. When it comes time to bargains it can be hit and miss. I have scored the occasional deal while shopping here but they were few and far between. For the most part I have been underwhelmed by what I found. Either the deal wasn't anything special or the sizes were picked over and I couldn't find anything that fit me. If you're buying clothes be sure to inspect them thoroughly because I have found items that were on sale because they had tears or other defects in them. Another big reason that the outlet concept doesn't work so well here is that the access to every store is outdoors. Sure when the weather is warm enough it isn't an issue and it is nice to walk around and peruse the shops. However, this is Quebec and when it's -15 C outside I would rather be able to access the stores inside where it's warm. If you live in Laval or near Mirabel you can possibly justify the trip here. As someone who lives in Montreal though it doesn't seem worthwhile to go all the way out to Mirabel to brave the crowds for one or two deeply discounted items. I think I'll stick to the Montreal-area shopping malls next time I need clothes. read more

Am I the only one on the planet that isn't into it? Naturally I'm not the type to spend hours going from store to store but let's put that aspect on the back burner for a second. It'll take me almost an hour to get there. Once I'm there, I need to park about 63km away from ANY entrance because all of Quebec seems to be shopping at this one place. Then I have to elbow other women to get that one last pair of size 4 pants. Honey, just take them. I won't break my nose over those pants. Don't forget the fact that women WILL body check to get in front of you to walk into ANY store. So at this point, I'm sweaty, I'm bruised and I have no pants.... AND THEN I HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE TO WALK INTO A STORE? I'm pretty sure the security guard at Bath&Body was the same bouncer that used to work at Dome.... But that's besides the point. I usually walk about of this outdoor "outlet" completely exhausted, cursing and completely empty handed. I'll stick to my online shopping. At least I won't break a limb. read more

I visited Premium Outlets on day 2 of the grand opening, after months of anticipation and promotion, I knew this was place was going to be popular, massive crowds, traffic, celebrations complete with fireworks and concerts helped add to the hype but everyone's question is: "Is it worth it?" There are some lovely finds, but personally, I find much of the stuff too expensive. Canadians can't help but compare prices to the US, face it, things are and always will be cheaper in the States plus our tax alone kills any chance of a good find. However, Premium Outlets brings a couple stores that are unique to the Quebec market, such as The Bay Outlet, Coach Outlet or Michael Kors Outlet if you're looking for discounted designer labels. If you're going in with the mindset of spending 200$ on a purse instead of 400$ then sure it's a great deal, but it's not a fly-off-the-shelves kind of sale, you have to be ready to spend a considerable amount. I was disappointed with the Old Navy which is listed as an outlet but all the merchandise is identical to its other stores and only certain items are on sale. I expected to see everything at a reduced price, thinking it would be older stock on clearance. Same thing with Nike, yes, you will be spending less on a pair of runners compared to Foot Locker, but there's already a Nike outlet in Marche Central and one in St-Sauveur with comparable prices. I think everyone needs to keep the name "Premium" in mind, this isn't like walking into a Winners and leaving with a 5$ tshirt and 10$ jeans, if you're budget conscious, this isn't for you. Setting prices aside, the Premium Outlets is a truly beautiful place to shop, they did a great job replicating a village style where boutiques are close to each other, you can easily access all stores by foot. There's also canopy roofing linking many of the sections of this exterior mall together so in case of bad weather, you will be spared from the elements. Chairs, couches, tables and heaters adorn the walkways and an interior food court with massive fireplace and comfy sofas are yours to relax in. Free wifi is available. The Outlets will be a big hit in summer, especially for families since they can take their children to the playground on site, lots of grassy areas and picnic style seating. This is supposed to be just phase 1 of the building project, so I would definitely give Premium Outlets Montreal a chance, just wait to see what else they have in store- it's all going up from here. Bonus- Sign up for their VIP club online, you will be informed of coupons first hand and have access to a lounge area with massage chairs, free make up and other goodies. read more

The best thing to the States cheap shopping. When I went to the outlets I wasn't sure what to expect as I have shopped a lot in the states. This place blew my mind. They had many outlet stores: Underarmour, Nike, Rudsak, La Senza, Browns, Gucci, Michael Kors, Coach, Moose Knuckles, Urban Planet and many more. First the deals I found was $35 Nike Runners for my son. Also a jump man coat for $30. I also had found at the La Senza Outlet 5 bras for $20, 2.99 bodysuits, $5 athletic bras as well. Michael Kors had an amazing deal on bags as well for $150 reg $450. These outlets are comparable to the States shopping and only 25 minutes from Laval. The only thing that upset me is that there are not many good food options. I am vegan and everything was fast, greasy food. It's worth checking out and it also has an amazing toy store that I had seen. It's comparable state shopping here in Quebec. read more

Outlets is a bit of a misleading term. I think every store I went to was a mix of regular priced and sale items. I think the only one that was truly an outlet was The Bay, which had a huge selection of items. I did like that the Lindt store had a number of chocolates that you wouldn't normally find in other stores, and everyone gets a free sample of their milk chocolate truffle. Apart from that, if you look carefully you will find some really great deals and will walk away a happy shopper. The overall look is very ski chalet and had that small-town vibe, In the food court area,the huge fireplace with comfy chairs was relaxing post-shop, and provides a central meeting area. The food court choices were lacking, but I saw that the current build is only the first phase, so I expect that to change in future. read more

When I heard that the Premium Outlets were coming to Montreal, I was SO excited because I love the US Premium Outlets so I expected something similar. Unfortunately, I was let down by the outlet stores here - despite a variety of stores, I find that these outlets are accessory heavy (more shoe/bag/wallet stores). The Bay outlet is horrendous to say the least, and many of the stores carry defective items (ripped, etc). The two great stores here are the Fossil and the Nine West. Otherwise, the stores fall flat. I wish I could say more positive things but to be completely honest, I'd rather drive 5+ hours to the US outlets than to come here... read more

The Simons chain of Premium Outlets gets it right now matter the size. At the Montreal one where there's only 75 stores their outlets still feel better to walk through then Tanger Outlets. Its hard to explain but there seems to be a premium feel with the way they've designed and decorated their outlets. The variety of stores and the layout and build make these Premium Outlets my preference over Tanger Outlets. This particular location has 75 stores and some of the notables are a very large Hudson Bay Outlet, Diesel Outlet, Lindt Chocolates, Rudsak, and Lacoste. Deals are so so considering we Canadians always get screwed. The food court has a good selection of foods to choose from which includes an A&W. There are other food places not on the Outlet property but within driving distance such as a McDonalds and a Five Guys. This is a smaller outlet as it didn't take too much time to get through all the stores I wanted to go into. Parking is ample and free!! read more

Decent outlet shopping within reach of both those living in MTL, and those in the Laurentides. A good variety of stores, with a large range of quality/cost so there is enough options for everyone. It's a small outlet. Not that many stores. I'd even say there are more stores that aren't outlets. The only premium store that has any deals is Coach. The rest you can easily find for sale at Holt's or The Bay. Great for running shoes as they have a huge Nike and Adidas outlet. read more

The only two stores of any interest to me here are Max Mara and the make-up store. None of the other stores seem to be true outlets, stocking regular merchandise at regular prices or low grade "made for outlet" items. Even the Bay outlet brings in the same merchandise repeatedly, selling it at various prices, depending on the week. Be aware that the Bay often posts "take an extra 25% off" signs on the racks, but then tries to refuse to apply the discount at the cash. Everything in all the stores is final sale. Nowhere decent to eat or take a break from shopping. Not worth the drive out, except as indicated. read more

Ok let's face the cold hard truth! The area and the building themselves beautiful. The layout well thought out, food court less to be desired. With all the traffic of people it was not easy to go in and out of that area. A plus there is lots of parking and places to sit which is great. Now as for as the shopping not so good! The prices not even close to usa, but to be fair I was expecting that with the exchange and are taxes, what I was not expecting was some places had not only the same price like at the mall but higher! They had higher prices then they where promoting a sale and telling you how much your saving but in reality it came down to the same price like place rosemere & Carrefour mall. Very disappointed! It will be full during the holidays but after that during the hard months of January & February they better bring down the prices or they will suffer deeply. Best stores I found that had good prices hagger, puma & the bay. Only time will tell what the future holds. read more
