There were so many different baked goods to choose from whether you want a baguette, croissants, cakes, and more! There are even savory sandwiches too. There's also a fridge with ham and other goods that are great for bringing home for a picnic or to make your own sandwiches. There's also a seating area which a good amount of tables and seats! I especially loveeee their croissants. I've tried a few of their pastries and baked goods and I gotta say that their almond croissant is probably one of the best ones I've ever had. DEEELicious, from my first taste visiting the bakery in 2011 on our annual trip to Montreal from Orlando. The "enrobed" sesami seed French bread is the best for making sandwiches. A ton of sesami seeds on it, all around it. Their creme boule (sp?) is wonderful. Great almond croissants, and regular croissants, too. Mmmmmmmmm! I can't wait to get back to Montreal. Nice and spacious, this bakery has seating for weary travelers. It is an awesome place to cool down or warm up, grab something to drink and some dessert. Lots of people walking by and stuff happening. I grabbed a tart and a soda (hence no pic), and the tart was legit good. I was happy and surprised because this is a franchise, but they make their tarts very well. I can't remember if I grabbed a croissant, but the tart was memorable. During several holiday gatherings, I've had their cakes before and absolutely love their cheesecake. I finally had the opportunity to visit their location in Mont Royal. Because it's close to the holiday season, they had their Christmas log cakes available and all on display already. This is a cute little shop with many baked goods and cake options beautifully displayed. As always, their cakes are fresh and beautiful. We ate it that afternoon and it never disappoints. My only feedback is I wish they taped up the individual cake slices to the bottom box so it doesn't slide around during transport. read more

Great little bakery/cafe right in the heart of Plateau Mont Royal. Everything here looks amazing, but obviously I couldn't try everything. Service here is excellent, you can tell the employees here actually care about their customers. After a day of a good 9 miles of exploration on foot, my hubby and I had just purchased bagels down the street at St-Viateur to bring home. As a newbie to Montreal, I had no idea where to go for fine baked treats. The good reviews on Yelp lead me to this place, and I was not disappointed. The almond croissant was the best I have ever had. Rich and buttery, it was hard to not go back and get more. I also tried the oatcake, which was not as moist as I had hoped; I'm not upset, though, since it was similar to more traditional recipes, and tasted phenomenal! I only give it 4 stars because I somehow managed to get pain au chocolat instead of the cinnamon roll I asked for... it may have been my miscommunication, of course. Sure, they have pretty good pasties but not necessarily numero uno in this neighbourhood. However, I'm becoming a big fan their lunch specials which are just a little more expensive than a McDonald's combo and come with a soup, meat serving, salad, and even a yummy desert. It's always super quick and fresh and hot. I've only dealt with management once when they got a cake order wrong, but they were very classy about resolving. The area when you can sit is very sunny and one of the best places to people watch on Mt-Royal. Dropped in yesterday to get a baguette, it was quite busy for 5pm with the line nearly out the door. They still had lots of different breads, muffins and tarts left. And a variety of sandwiches too. The baguette was delicious, crusty on the outside soft in the middle. We popped back for coffee and lunch the next day however decided against the coffee as they don't have a proper coffee machine just an automatic one. My husband got the ham and butter baguette and I got the salmon, avocado and Orange on a multigrain baguettes with a small Italian vegetables on the side. The bread on my sandwich was lovely, dense and crusty. We then got a pecan tart and citron tart to go. Both were delicious and the crust was melt in your mouth. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the price, $9 for a salmon sandwich ...and nearly $4 for a plain baguette is a little steep. read more
