I have had a good relationship with the school since 2010, continuing long after my children moved on to Primary and still feel it's a genuinely happy, safe, encouraging environment for children to spend their preschool years. I would give them zero stars only you have to rate them something on this. There only in it for the money and don't care about the children. I only had my son in part time but i'm sorry that I ever left him there.

I attended this school for 8 years and I enjoyed every single year. I never once complained about the teachers, well, maybe once! They have a really well balanced curriculum, joining loads of sports and outdoor activities with school work, made it not too hard to actually do the work! After school activites included hurling, camogie, cookery class, speech and drama, and im sure they have added more since. I was part of the school choir and the choir teacher, is the best around. We took part in 2-3 competitions a year, and won every single one. It is such a great community to be a part of, and i have some of my fondest, most tresured memories. :)

It's a fantastic facility. They offer a number of extra curricular activities such as GAA, Irish Dancing, Choir etc, but the strongest asset the school has is the staff. It's rare to find staff in any organisation who are so truly dedicated to their jobs, but the teachers & head mistress at Scoil Bhride go above & beyond what would be expected of them. With class sizes increasing all the time, it's refreshing to see the attention each child gets from their teachers here. They're wonderful people headed by the utterly brilliant Miss Dillon - an educator who all future educators should be compared against. She has earned so much respect from the students & parents alike about how she runs the school. If you're local & looking at schools to send your child to, you would be hard pressed to find better than Scoil Bhride.

Everyone knows everyone elses name and the teachers are friends with the students, rather than enemies. The school has great sporting achievements. It focuses on hockey in the winter term and has won both the 6th class boys and girls cups many times before. It has produced two Irish u16 players in recent years. In summer tennis, cricketa and rounders are played. It is a small school, there are only eight classes, with about 22 per class. This allows the teacher greater interaction with each individual student. RJS (it's abbreviation) really is a home from home.

This school is a girl's school and is located beside Corpus Christi Church although the entrance of…read morethe school is Homefarm Road rather than Griffith Avenue. All the girl's in my family including myself went to this school so maybe I'm bias by saying I think its a great school. The school was 75 years old a few years ago and I went along to the reunion and it was great to see some old nuns and pupils from all those years ago. Some even remembered me. Not that it was THAT long since I went. This is quite a large school, with a school yard divided into sections for the different classes and has a community hall opposite for PE activites as well as the church nearby for Christmas carol services etc. It's not run by the nuns anymore though the principle is a teacher.
