I met with the Clement…read moreConstruction representative to give me a quote to pave two spaces changing from grass to blacktop in my commercial parking lot and to repair the area around 5 drains. I was to take out any stump and he would do the rest. The work would be done by the end of the fall. We shook hands and he thanked me for my business. Later in the fall after I called a couple of times, he said he was not going to get to my project. He said to fill the space, which I had removed the stumps, and fill with crusher run to grade. Effectively this was the base needed before applying the asphalt. I had crusher run brought in and paid to have it spread. The next week he called to say something came up so he could work on my project but only that area I had retrofit; effectively the most profitable area for him. He would do this, "as a favor to me", for a price. In that price, no consideration was made for the money I had expended and no reference to what was left to be done. I made two mistakes. I should not have done this agreement without a contract. What can I say. I'm old school. Secondly, I shouldn't have agreed to the price he demanded in the end. I felt he had me over a barrel. He got paid. I got part of the job finished. Hope your experience is better than mine.

When I first reached out to Prestige Builders, I spoke to Bill about the project and the short time frame I was looking to have it completed. He came over immediately to discuss the project and start an estimate for me. Although the company was very busy with several already scheduled jobs, Bill and his team at Prestige, found a way to fit our project in. Bill and his team were amazing. I requested a quote on some electrical issues and he came the next day. He diagnosed the one problem I had and then I asked him to look into giving me a new Electrical box. He got me scheduled 3 days later and the work is amazing. Then him and his team came on the weekend to fix another construction project I had been waiting on being done for 11 days and got it done this weekend. His professionalism and work ethic is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have dealt with up here in my 8 years of owning my home. read more

Well I'm not just giving a five-star away easily first you have to do what you say you're going to…read moredo which is a rarity with construction people and then you have to use good materials and care about the quality of their working job let's admit it it seems like anyone with a hammer and a nail thinks that are contractor around here I'm a little bit finicky and picky about what I have done because I have a lot of money invested in my house and I don't have the money to buy another one anyway I'm only giving this review because listening and learning it seems like a lot of people use reviews to extort these guys and I mean anyone in the construction business anyway back to my job my basement was cold wet and damp now I have a woman cave that will rattle any man cave anyway they put in a complete new bathroom I had a septic system so I didn't know how they would get the waist up and out but they put in a tub they had a grinder so it drains everything up pushes it out works fantastic I have no moisture or water coming in anywhere before when it would rain I would have a leak in my wall not anymore they added windows I'm outside to the inside they had to do some extra work that was unexpected because the guy told me the old houses aren't built like the new one so there's always something that you need to get done so he told me I need to be prepared for the unforeseen and he told me so to keep it there material and then you gave me a reasonable hourly rate because he thought it was more fair to charge for something that may not need to be done anyway Anthony did a fantastic job he was honest he worked sometimes 7 Days my job took about 90 days to get done they did a lot of work and they did a lot of stuff that was foreseen in closing I'll just say call him meet him talk to him have him explain to you what they will do although they did a fantastic job of explaining things so that I would understand it and let him go to work okay that's about it for my review now I'm going to sit down and watch my big screen TV and have a cold iced tea thanks again Anthony
