I paid for my son's senior portrait session, he goes to the session and is told he had to pay and it wasn't paid for. I called yesterday after the session and was hung up on multiple times. finally I'm talking to someone and it's 3:50 so the lady said oh we can't take care of this now and I needed to call back tomorrow. I told her no I was already trying to get help for over a hour. she proceeded to put me on hold for over 20 minutes. I called this morning and they said they would check into and gave me a reference # and haven't heard anything and they are closed again so guess I will have to call again tomorrow. Prestige was hired to do all the Senior photos at Arundel High for class of 2021. The photographers and staff at the time of the shoot were very friendly and fun to work with but a bit unprofessional. I didn't have a problem with them but I do now because the black tux coat they used for the boys photos had a white smudge on the collar and when I pointed it out the guy he assured me not to worry about it and that it would be edited out prior to me receiving my pics. Turns out it was NOT edited out!!! All 5 of those poses showed up with it. I was running out of time to choose what photos I wanted, so decided to just buy a photo cd which included all 30 photos. There was a special deal running for $250 for a photo cd that also advertised they would all be uploaded on Shutterfly for me at no cost. Well that was a lie as well!!! So as of now, I'm extremely disappointed with them as there are 5 photos of my son in the black tux that are adorable but ruined because the white smudge shows on all of them. Aside from that these happen to be some of my favorite photos so this really sucks. Also turns out that the photos were never uploaded to Shutterfly. I called customer service and while I do give them credit for being professional, they were no help with assisting me to correct this. All they did was apologize, give me a refund and a free 8x10. They keep saying there was nothing that can be done. They were like talking to robots. I did not ask for this. I just wanted my photos fixed and on Shutterfly as the advertisement said when the coupon was used. I spoke with another person and still didn't get anywhere. By then I wasted too much time and was frustrated so I took the refund and I will never do business with them. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of work and customer service with Prestige. I was skeptical to even buy any photos from them to begin with because they are outrageously expensive for the selections and quality they provide. Not that it matters much now as my only son is a senior and won't be needing these photos again, but I will never do business with them again and will warn people about their poor quality. The photographer acted like he was doing everyone a favor and was rude to my daughter who requested her picture to be retaken, because frankly it was a lousy photograph. I don't usually go out of my way to leave negative reviews but my experience with them was so disappointing. I only took photos with them because they were at my school and my parents wanted the most convenient option for me to get my required senior pictures. I spent hours getting ready in the morning and was already very tired. I walked in only for the receptionist and photographer to have so much attitude. They were so unprofessional and so passive aggressive toward me, I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was there. It felt like they didn't even want to be there and just wanted to clock out. I've never had a yearbook photo in high school that I was happy with, so I had higher expectations for senior photos. But even the other photographers that took my yearbook pics in the past were a lot nicer. I was told that for senior photos they would take their time to take the best photos of you that you'd feel confident in. Why are you mad at me that you have to do your job. When I didn't like some of the photos they took of me, I asked for a retake but they didn't want to because they said there were other people to take photos of. For such an expensive cost, you would expect better treatment of their clients and for them to make sure the pictures turn out the way they like. The photographers just don't seem to care. I always thought senior photos were supposed to be something special, but this whole experience was ruined for me sadly. Spent a lot of time and money only to get photos I'm dissatisfied with. If you're taking senior photos, go some other place if you can. Also, the agents on the phone customer service don't know their facts and just lied when I asked how much time I would be getting. I honestly did not know what to expect... I was truly expecting some bland and boring senior photos. I am blown away by the quality of my daughter's photos. The photographers used for our sessions were very young and they seemed to be very hip on taking great photos (sharing photo posture tips). The photos I'm sharing on yelp do not do justice to the other photos my kid took; she looked amazing! She was able to change into three different outfits and get various poses. High quality and some! Worth every dollar spent! What I gathered from my experience vs what other students who were not satisfied with their photos shared with me is it all depends on the photographer you get for your session. Photographer Mr. Tom went way above and beyond to make my son, who has a significant developmental disability, feel comfortable. Mr. Tom took many photos and worked hard to get a few good shots in 4 different outfits while dealing with behaviors along the way without batting an eye. It's hard to be the parent of a teenager with a disability. It's never easy, it commonly frustrating, but sometimes it can be down right embarrassing and that's what it would have been today had it not been for Mr. Tom's compassion and patience. Here's the bonus; marketing making it sound like they are doing us a favor: $529 to get your all child's poses not the prints. You have to pay more to get the prints. Here's another bonus! If the photographer messed up on your photos meaning blemishes, they don't remove them. You guessed it! You have to pay $40 but they will give you 50% off if you spend on their bundle. WOW! Are we consumers that stupid? Renown NY Photographer Barry Morgenstein who takes photos of celebrities is absolutely worth your money, 250 photos on a disc, 2 outfits with make up and hairdressers for $300. Terrible customer service. I received my daughter's senior portraits and the wallets were not cut properly. On most of them either the top of her head was cut off or the side of her hair. One of my 5x7's has a smudge on it. I have called them many times and spent countless amounts of time on hold. I have emailed them and actually did receive an email back and they told me via email that they would hand cut the wallets and print a new 5x7 and mail them to me. That was over a month ago and since I've heard nothing. I have sent several emails to the same person that I was corresponding with and have heard nothing. The building is deceiving as its in the middle of an industrial park. Once inside we were greeted right away, receptionist clearly explained our options and the photographer was wonderful. Hung up on and transferred around before getting someone who clearly did not speak English enough to conduct a professional conversation. As such, my question was never answered. Fast forward to the day of my child's senior pictures. Her appointment was a suggestion. The photographer wasn't even set up upon her arrival. She waited almost an hour in a hot room while the photographer set up. At this point her make up is ruined and so is her experience of her senior pictures. This company should not be in existence. My daughter was asked to register because they had no record of the paid package purchased weeks ago. We also don't know if she was given the correct shawl color because the workers were debating which color to give her. She was photographed in green and one of her friends had black. They are WAAAAAY overpriced. I have twins and they wouldn't let me pay for their pictures in one cart because it would have lowered the prices. They were willing to "let" me put them in one cart if I purchased a special package, which started at $499 and went up from there. $59 for one 8" x 10" photo? How outrageous! But wait......if you buy one of their extremely overpriced packages you can buy that 8" x 10" picture for $36. STILL OUTRAGEOUS! I would have to buy two outrageously priced packages (one for each twin) to get the "discounted" rate. And don't try to get an explanation for the outrageous prices. We paid over $500 for senior portraits. They delivered the photos 3 different times and still couldn't get it right. I just posted 2 examples of the kind of work they do because it was too many mistakes to post them all. They put my name on my daughters collage pic on the 1st and 3rd order. Not sure how they got her name right on the second order but it didn't matter because they completely photo shopped the picture so she doesn't even look like the same person. Useless. They should have refunded my money but wouldn't unless I returned ALL the pictures so instead I am stuck with dozens of pics to see what I can salvage. Buying the disc should have been an option and then I could have taken it to a professional to do the touch ups and print it for me. I feel like I was robbed. They should set up viewing appointments in person BEFORE they print pictures to make sure it is what the customer wants. I even contacted the corporate headquarters and all they do is refer you back to the local office. Its a shame because I have been a Lifetouch customer for years and never would have thought the service would be so bad. Received urgent email from this company on a Thursday evening indicating that we had only 24 hours to schedule/pay for a senior photo session the following week. The cheapest "package" option was $20. After paying/scheduling we found out from the school that there would actually be multiple opportunities for taking senior photos and there should also have been a free option offered for yearbook only photos. Very misleading sales tactics to create a false urgency and hide the option for a no fee photo session. Slimy company. read more

Was very disappointed but felt trapped into making a purchase even though 15 of the 18 photos were horrible. The poses they forced my son to stand in looked like a 5 year old girl Easter photos with his hands under his chin. The props were corny and the photographer did a horrible job recognizing issues in the photo like hair out of place. It's as if they were just trying to rush through and didn't care. For $65 sitting fee, I expect more. For $400 in photos I expect more. I will discourage anyone from using this company. I emailed them and filled out a survey.
