And, women I know report the and treatment, which shouldn't be an exception, but these days it's something that I consider when I choose a business. I have had so many oil changes, and done dozens myself here into my 6th decade that I understand the occasional mishap and this is the kind of place, and corporation, that I know would (and has) been responsive to that sort of thing in a way that would still let me want to come again for service. As with so many places in Tennessee small towns, the local staff are what separate it and add those friendly hospitable touches. We're repeat customers and plan to continue.

After talking to a few folks in the area, we kept getting the same shop name: Gobble's Automotive. We called them Monday afternoon and was able to schedule an appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. They called us mid-day Tuesday with the prognosis and gave us a high and low estimate before tearing into the system. We gave them the go-ahead. Wednesday morning, they called and said we could come pick up our vehicle and that we had the best case scenario and price was even lower than the original estimate. The group at Gobble's accommodated us in the best way possible, got us in and out VERY quickly and everything under the hood was perfect. Thank you so much for the great service!

Granted, things happen, but what warrants the review is that when I entered my car to leave, the internal bell was going off without the key in the ignition. That tells me the person working on my car did something to it and the issues he found may be more about revenue than actual issues. When I called to let them know, "ok, we'll let him know" was the answer. Clearly there are some issues here. While sitting for 1 1/2 hours, there was arguing among the staff, they were discussing other issues customers had, and no one seemed to be able to figure out what was going on in any area of discussion with these issues. Maybe it's a management issue, probably a staff issue - they did offer to give me a quote on the work they said I needed before they could align my tires. No thanks...just read the reviews before you go. Oh, and they will charge a fee no matter what. I had to pay a "lift" fee so they could cause my internal car alarm to chime when the door opens without the key and tell me they would quote me for more work. Again, read the reviews!
