Our only regret in hiring John Brady with Brady Property Services is that we didn't find and hire…read morehim sooner. John gave us a competitive estimate in mid-2022 to renovate a hallway and half bath - a project delayed by budgets and the pandemic for about 4+ years. We set a start date of early January 2023 and John began his work. We found John and his colleague to be extremely professional, prompt and thoughtful in their work. What's more - John asked questions and verified details with us as he went. There was no assuming what we might want, and he offered helpful ideas and recommendations. Working in a fairly tight space, John and his colleague were respectful of the fact that I work from home and, although construction noise is unavoidable when tearing down walls and what have you, they were not intrusive or blasting loud music as they worked. I sincerely appreciated their professional manner and dress because my mother lives with us and I am keenly aware of how strangers in the house might make her feel uncomfortable. They were so polite and respectful of her and my family. That cannot be said of all contractors. Now, the work quality: I'd rate it excellent or better. John took great care to ensure the quality of the work and materials would meet or exceed our expectations. He even found a better solution for some cabinets for us that matched the style we wanted without impacting the budget. The drywall work was excellent. He managed to match and/or mirror some intricate moldings to exactly what we hoped for. John also stayed late once or twice because he wanted to make sure the quality of the work was also up to his high standards. Prior to hiring John, we had another company work on a basement renovation. The comparison was like night and day. The company handling the basement took too long, cost too much and the quality of both the work and the workers was not good. Brady Property Services was a study in contrasts with John's work completed in a timely manner, staying within a reasonable budget and producing outstanding quality in the work itself. We have more projects to complete, and John will now be our first call for all of them. I highly recommend him.

Do Not Use this kitchen contractor - agree with Clare K. Totally botched my job. Two owners split…read morejust before my job started. Total chaos, owner Angel knows nothing. Zero competence;unprofessional. Totally messed up our job, floor a mess, plumbing done incorrectly and leaked everywhere - destroyed our basement, walls, etc. and they refuse to do any warranty/repair work. Tried to claim at end of job we owed money for "extra" electric work. Never paid electrical contractor. STAY AWAY!!!

WARNING! Do not use this outfit. They were sloppy,…read moreunprofessional, exhibited poor customer service, and were undependable and untrustworthy. We had Main Street Kitchens & Baths LLC. renovate our kitchen and put in hard wood floors. The first day of work they never showed up. Cabinets were screwed in without countersinking, one corner cabinet was the wrong size (the owner originally blamed my wife until we showed him the contract), his worker broke another, and then weeks went by without any contact before they returned to finish the job (the owner saying the cabinets were on backorder). When the floor was done there were at least 2 floor voids or soft spots(originally the floor was supposed to be glued down, but the owner arbitrarily decided he couldn't do it, so he told us the flooring was 'no longer made' and decided to put a floating floor in. He neglected to use self leveling cement, which caused the voids. He then refused to fix them saying it was because the slab was not level). Our painting contractor has had to repair many of their mistakes, and clean up after them, and can attest to their poor professionalism and workmanship. We have digital photos. After their work was done the owner became abrasive about the final payment, left a threatening voicemail message, and called us and was abusive to my wife and myself before he drove over and demanded payment on the spot at 8 am one morning. This after making all payments on time and within the contract guidelines. After weeks of waiting to finish the job, we both agreed that his actions seemed desperate. The owner also never disclosed they are both also brokers with Hatboro Real Estate Services. Main Street has at least one pending lawsuit for nonperformance, and are not an accredited business with the Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau. Please be warned!
