When I first started my journey trying to arrange for flooring I went to the two big box stores, then Carpet and Tile Max and a few other smaller places and the service was just non existent. The choices though not limited where just sorta useless. I would find a flooring I liked then when I tracked a sales person they either had just a few cases, it would be discontinued, they couldn't give me timeframes on orders or the products would be wrong for my application. The show room at first looked small (deceiving) but that is why I guess was so attracted to it. I knew I wanted to support a local business but I had to know I could trust them as well. In one day I was able to take home (borrow) there store samples, choose my color, purchase/order the materials and when the order came in the install date was offered. When the installer came to the house he was just so nice and professional and in four hours Fred installed my floor and it is awesome. Yay! I did a search on Google for local flooring companies and, not to say that the others are not good, but Doylestown Floor Covering stood out with its amazing profile and 5 star reviews. The entire process, from beginning to end, has been Fabulous with Andrew Simmonds and other staff members being great, attentive and super helpful. Now that my floors are installed and I see the huge transformation that my house has undergone, I can say that I am 100% satisfied and thrilled. They came early in the morning and in the blink of an eye (and a few hours of hard work ) I had a brand new, high quality hardwood floor installed. They meticulously repaired the subfloor and joined it to the joists to eliminate the squeaks that a 40 year old floor commonly has and now i have a beautiful squeak free floor. The folks at Doylestown Floor Covering are very helpful. If you haven't walked into a carpet place recently, the selections available can be overwhelming. However, I was in and out of the showroom in under 15 minutes, with as many carpet samples as I wanted--each expertly recommended for our projects' purposes. Carpet came in faster than what we expected. The install team took so much pride in their work which was evident in the finished product. I had chosen a pattern for my stairs and the team took time to make sure the pattern was perfectly matched down each tread and riser. The very polite snsd jovial install team also mentioned that they realize that people often save tax returns and extra pay to be able to afford to put in new carpet and they install each project with that in mind. We had a great experience with Doylestown Floor Covering. We had initially gone to the blue big box store to replace our carpeting. After a couple of months of trying to get a quote from them and install our carpets, we gave up and decided to try a local store. Andy at the Doylestown Floor Covering helped us choose carpets, and scheduled a measurement the next day. Later same day, he sent us a quote, and we put a deposit in a couple of days. They ordered the carpets right away, it took about a week for our carpets to arrive, and we scheduled installation that same week. The installers, Bill and Eli (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly), were great. They were good at their job, meticulous, clean, and courteous. They worked efficiently and did a beautiful job with our carpeting. We are quite pleased with the whole experience, and highly recommend this business. We have been clients of Doylestown Floor Covering ( Sister business to Door To Door Floors ) for over 30 years. We reached out when we decided that it was time to update our 1st floor and stairs to the second level. We worked once again with Andy who is a great business person and service provider. The process was easy, efficient and economical. After consulting with Andy we determined the right product to shop for and visited the showroom to make our selections. Easy peasy as they say. The new floors and stair coverings went in pretty quick and we now are enjoying the new and beautiful floors. They installers were fantastic and the level of detail and professionalism was refreshing. I did look at my favorite 'Big Box' store that begins with a C but they could not compare for the value, price or selection. Great job by Sergio and his team. They showed as scheduled, they were courteous, and they transformed the look of the hardwood floors just as I'd hoped. They sanded, stained and poly coated pegged random width 1950's oak flooring and standard oak flooring in adjoining areas. Ceiling fans, air conditioning units, counters, hearth and anything else necessary were covered with plastic tarp and sealed from dust; the team left the area amazingly clean. The floors were worn to bare wood in some spots, damaged by moisture and heavy traffic in others, and marred by application of insecticide at some edges. The guys did a really nice job correcting all these issues, replaced the moldings with perfectly matched product, and totally revived the wooden thresholds to the outside doors (I had no idea they could look so good). Love the look of the floors now, absolutely worth doing. read more

I would not consider going to anyone else. I now have the most beautiful bathrooms, along with lovely tile flooring in my kitchen, laundry & power rooms. This is the second time I used Doylestown Floor Covering for a project. The first time was to refinish my hardwood floors and I couldn't have been happier. We left the house for a few days as was advised and upon returning found the floors completely finished and almost nothing to clean up. There was little to no dust from the sanding and they'd removed all trash and debris. This time they were installing carpeting in two large rooms as well as the upstairs hall and back staircase. There was huge selection to choose from and I couldn't be happier with my choices. The attention to detail by the installers was unbelievable. They took their time to make sure everything came out perfect and it did. I will definitely use them for any future flooring projects and highly recommend them. read more

They repaired and refinished our hardwood floors in three rooms, retiled our entryway tile areas and finished a raw edge of hardwood with a transition piece. Everything came out perfect, the teams that came out were very kind, efficient, responsive and many went above and beyond for us (especially Nick who did our ceramic tile). When our beloved pocket door wouldn't close after the new tile was installed, they sent someone out to fix it for us free of charge. The turnaround after booking was a little slower to start than anticipated but that is to be expected due to COVID delays. Remembering how pleasant the company was to deal with we didn't hesitate to return to them when we decided to install wood floors to replace our old rugs. Everyone at Doylestown Floor Covering was amazing. We had a budget and were given many selections from high end that was within our budget. we were able to take samples home to decide. Measuring, we were able to schedule the following day and carpet install less than a week later. The installers were friendly, professional, conversational and were not intimidated by my Shepherds, in fact they were happy to give them treats. When the floor binding did not match the adjacent floor, they were able to accommodate my needs without question. We have new projects in the future and will definately use Doylestown Flooring. I recently decided to have my carpets removed and install wooden floors in my condominium. After choosing the floor I was able to take the samples home to make the best choice. There was no pressure to make a fast decision. The boards were delivered when promised and the work crew installing the floor arrived exactly on time. The moved the furniture, and took great care when moving computers and electronics. They were competent, courteous, and worked until late in the day to get the job done. We are extremely pleased with the way our hardwood floor turned out all throughout the house. The entire staff at Doylestown Floor, including the owner, helped to ensure that we were happy with our selection of product and color. The hardwood arrived promptly and was installed equally as fast. We also want to commend the installers. The lead installer is definitely a craftsman. He was able to match up the new hardwood floor exactly with the existing hardwood floor in the kitchen in 3 separate doorways. And best of all, was the job that he did around the stone fireplace with uneven edges at the floor. He cut custom pieces of hardwood to exactly match the uneven stone hearth. We had laminate flooring installed in the basement, as well as new stair runners for two staircases. Everything came out beautifully - we are so happy! The total project took only 3 weeks from having them here to measure, picking out and ordering materials, to the full installation of the floors. The pricing was very fair, especially compared to some of the quotes we received. They explained the various types of flooring and helped us pick a suitable carpet.
