Nickie did my makeup for my wedding this past May. Prior to the big day we did a trial session. She was very professional and accommodating as I was coming from LA. During the trial session she really listened to how I wanted to look while inputting her creative suggestions. The result of the trial was an amazing look for my wedding. On my wedding day, Nickie was prompt and she even accommodated my sister who decided to have her makeup done that morning. I have been meaning to finish this review for AGES. I was absolutely in LOVE with Nikkie's work.. and I'll admit I was a serious skeptic. I do my makeup every single day and I'm not one of those mascera and lipgloss kind of girls. I do the full eyeshadow, foundation, liner, etc etc. So I thought I was a pro and initially thought it was a big waste of money to hire a makeup artist. I was also terrified that she would make me look like an idiot because admittedly, the last time I had my makeup done, I ended up looking like Mortitia Adams from the Adams Family. The time before that, I somehow looked like a lion from over-contouring.(How did I look like a lion? I have no idea but I swear...). Anyway, once the trial was done, I was convinced. I had no idea how much of an amateur I was until she stepped in. She also did a ton of my family member's makeup and followed their direction very well! We had a few who were worried it would be too heavy or "too much" and it was beautifully tasteful.
