I've tried to send an email to this business rather than a negative review multiple times today but it will not go through from my Gmail - maybe because of the attachment? - so I'm posting this here. I spent 20 minutes today explaining to Ysa what i wanted.  I also showed her the attached photo of me with white hair i got one month ago at another salon.  I thought she understood what i wanted. I repeatedly asked to show her the color i wanted on a swatch, which she would not bring me. I trusted she understood everything i had so painstakingly tried to communicate.  Instead, after a couple hours, i left with dark purple hair like in the second attached photo.  I hate it. And more importantly, IT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED OR ASKED FOR. i wish i had made clear that i didn't want to pay for this.  Instead I told her at the end it wasn't what i wanted. i was clearly upset. She insisted it will be somewhat white after it washes out in a few weeks. I didn't know what else to say at that point and i just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. It's so difficult to tell someone you think they did a bad job.  But this is the worst experience I've ever had in any salon. And even worse, now i have to pay someone else hundreds of dollars to fix it. read more

Do not go to Ysa. She ruined my hair. Had to have corrective color from a different salon. The owner was very reasonable and refunded me.Beware. Ysa took 6.4 hour to do a PARTIAL and a cut. Then tried to charge me $400. When I had my correction done the legitimate stylist gasped (no joke ) it was so bad. She kept saying "it's just so over-toned. Did you ask for this?" Everyone has a bad day. The stylist reached out to try to make it right and apologize and I respect and appreciate that. While I didn't take her up on it - I appreciate it and I'm changing my review. I have not been asked to change it - but we all have bad days and I can empathize. I can say that this salon is really cute. I was offered a beverage. I loved the music that was playing. I could see that my stylist's coworkers wanted to help and they stood by. I'm sure this stylist I saw is an amazing person. I think she just had a tough day. We all have them. Lea is absolutely the best hairstylist I've been to since moving to Idaho! Not only has she returned my hair back to health, after it was over processed, turned green, and then turned to a muddy brown (by two other stylists I had tried before finding Lea), but she has also brought me back to feeling like I'm beautiful again! That in and of itself is priceless. The scalp massages, the time Lea takes to make sure I'm well taken care of, the professionalism, her optimistic attitude towards the way my hair turned out is just so infectious. It has been a long time since my last facial, and I'm so glad I went to see April at Murraki! I had driven by the salon before but hadn't been in and I was pleasantly surprised. It is beautiful and clean, and looks like somewhere I'd want to spend a few hours on a Saturday. April's room is cute and comfortable, and she is so sweet to talk to. She took the time to talk with me about my skin concerns and decided on a treatment that would help. I have VERY sensitive skin but the products she used felt good and calming, and I didn't have any harsh reactions to them. I felt like April took her time and wasn't rushed, and like she truly wanted to give me the best treatment possible. I woke up this morning and got ready, and my skin looked and felt so much smoother. My makeup looked better, and I felt so confident walking out the door. I'm definitely going again and I'd recommend April to anyone looking for a facial that makes you look and feel amazing. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had! I was there for over 5 hours with a so-called blonde specialist, and my hair came out looking like mud. I was expecting to pay under $200, and when we got to the register, I was informed that my disgusting hair was going to cost me $340! I immediately got into another salon the same day, where they fixed the atrocity I walked in with. My recommendation is to find literally anywhere else to get your hair done. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. I went for an appointment a month ago with Shawna. I spent almost an hour at the salon as she was behind schedule and once I got into the chair she said we should push the appointment out a month and let my hair continue to fade naturally. I'm not the expert so I agreed. The day of the appointment arrived and an hour and a half before my appointment the stylist messaged me on Instagram saying she was running behind and asked to push my appointment out by an hour. I said that was fine but had prior engagements that would require me to be out of the salon by 5-5:15 pm (initial appointment was for 1pm and she asked me to come at 2). My hair was fading from purple and wanted to start transitioning my hair back to an ombré for my upcoming engagement photoshoot and wedding. I show up at 1:55pm and by 2:30 pm I still was not in the chair and another stylist asked if I had been helped I said I had been checked in but explained what had happened. When she went back to get the stylist The woman sitting next to me in the waiting area said "Shawna did the same thing to me when I came in to have my hair done and said let's let my hair lighten some more on its own and to come back another time and I wasted an entire day." That woman was there to have her eyebrows waxed on this day but she had said she had the same experience. Shawna came out and said she was just finishing up. By this point I was upset and frustrated because my appointment had already been delayed by an hour and then I was sitting at the salon for over 30 minutes past when she had delayed my appointment to. I did not raise my voice but I did have a little bit of an attitude explaining I've been waiting and I am concerned that we will not have enough time and my engagement pictures are in one week so I don't have time to reschedule which I had mentioned earlier when she delayed my appointment. She said to me with the way you're talking to me I don't think it's a good idea for me to do your hair because I don't think you're going to be happy with it at this point. I had said I needed to get my hair done and I was open to having an all over color done just to get me by so my hair looked OK. She did not want to do my hair and went to check to see if any other stylists would be able to do it. She came back out again and said no one was available but if I could come back Monday someone could do my hair. My work schedule is Monday through Friday and the times they had available would not work with my schedule. She said to me I have never had anyone have an issue with my schedule and she didn't feel comfortable doing my hair because she didn't feel like I would be happy with it because I was upset about what had happened. I left the salon and here I am a week before my engagement photo shoot with no appointment available at any salon. I also had explained to her I had figured over four hours would have been enough time to do my hair but I was not the expert so if it was some thing where she knew that she needed significantly over four hours she should have communicated that to me and I would not have made any other commitments for the evening on that day. This was an entire day wasted I am completely in shock with how I was treated. I did not raise my voice again I did have an attitude given the situation and once she confirmed she was not going to do my hair I got even more of an attitude. I would like to be contacted by the manager or owner as soon as possible. If I could give this zero stars I would! read more

She explained each step to me before she began so that I would know what to expect. It felt so much better than I expected, and my skin felt so soft and nourished afterwards.
