Then it was cold and she wouldn't adjust it, which was just kind of a bummer. There was not a regular foot file part of the pedicure, so my heels don't have that nice feeling they usually do after a pedicure. My right big toenail was cut at a strange diagonal on one side (it had been straight across when I came in), and this is what my hands look like *three days* after the mani. (And I've barely even done dishes the last three days--no hard labor or anything. I can get over a week when I do my nails myself!) Just very odd and not a good experience, unfortunately. The first place I tried was a disaster; the water they used was dirty and had debris floating in it--yikes! I left immediately and luckily found Cutie Nail Salon nearby. Upon walking into Cutie, even though they were quite busy with customers, the staff was incredibly courteous and managed to fit me in with a short wait. Though my 20-minute expected wait turned into 35 minutes, the atmosphere was so welcoming that I didn't mind the extra time. Jay was the technician who attended to me, and I can't praise him enough! He was not only pleasant and polite but also exceptionally skilled at his job. My pedicure was thorough, relaxing, and just what I needed after the initial scare. Jay took his time, ensuring that every aspect of the service was perfect, all while being very personable and engaging in conversation. I'm so glad I found Cutie and Jay; I definitely know where I'll be going for my pedicure needs next time I'm in Flagstaff.
