The owners were happy to let us book the place at three week notice on a Sunday. The outdoor and indoor spaces are beautiful and so versatile. We had the wedding outside, the first half of the reception inside, and then back outside for the remaining evening hours. The owners were available the whole day for assistance and advice, and were so helpful the entire day without being overbearing. There is also a cute Bridal suite available in a private setting. The owner has a variety of decorations for use free of charge, which was very helpful for us as we had to plan a wedding in three weeks. they also helped the next morning pile everything up for us to remove from the venue. Again these are amazing owners with a wonderful venue. Even though it is out on the country we were also able to obtain a shuttle company to ensure our guests were able to have a fun safe time.

I ordered the chef salad. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the amount of protein they put on it. A $9.00 salad should be more than a bowl of salad greens and dressing. I won't write them off because the sandwiches are amazing, but I will NOT order another salad from them. The event was held in the main barn, and below the event space there is a beautiful suite for overnight stay. The suite features a full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and a large bedroom with a huge bathroom with beautiful stone walls! The wedding was a wonderful success, and the venue is the reason why. The staff is incredible and professional. Photo opportunities on the property are almost endless, and span a variety of styles. I absolutely loved my time here, and I am already planning a stay for myself and my husband.

Queen bed, lots of chairs, even a TV with a DVD player. In the hall is the Smith Library, full of books, games, dvds, and music. The house itself is lovely, lots of common rooms downstairs. The grounds are just as nice. We had a wonderful visit and can't wait to come back. It's minutes from Wittenberg University, so I'm sure we'll be back a lot in the next four years.
