I recently had a pretty significant surgery and wanted to find a place where I could receive post-surgery lymphatic messages. I'm new to Austin so I searched for someone near-ish to where we now live and Paige at Prevana showed up. Her space has a great vibe and the massage table is right by a window looking out on trees. (You can decide if you want it open or closed). When I had double jaw surgery and genioplasty, I was advised by my surgeon's office to try lymphatic drainage massage to help reduce the swelling and pressure in my face. I found Paige through Yelp and saw that she did lymphatic drainage, so I decided to give her a try. I'm so glad I did! I saw her for three sessions. During each session she listened carefully to my needs and concerns before working gently on my neck and jaw. It helped me tremendously to receive her gentle but effective lymph massage post operation. Her massage helped relieve pressure in my face as well as just being very relaxing during a time that was rather stressful for me. I liked her so much I went back later for a regular deep tissue massage, which was also top notch (and I am quite particular about massage as I was a massage therapist myself at one point in my life.) On top of giving a great massage, she is also just a nice person who is very easy to talk to. She listened to me yammer for about half an hour each time I saw her, lol.
