Took a 100% cashmere shawl to the dry cleaners to have dry cleaned, the item was in good condition…read morewhen I dropped it off. When I picked it up it was half the size & no longer is a rectangle. The edges were crinkled & the shawl was peeling. When I took it back the lady who did the dry cleaning said she could see that it had shrank & the edges were no longer straight. She was the one who dry cleaned the shawl & apologized. I asked for it to be replaced, and she said she would talk to the owner Jana Reich. After Jana inspected the scarf she let me know that it was in good condition & nothing is wrong with it. They damaged a cashmere shawl & have no desire to replace it, so much for customer service. The bad part is I have worked in the clothing industry for 20+ years, where I now design & manufacture clothing. Trust me I know the process of wear & tear, dry cleaning, moth damage, & how cashmere works so I find it funny that they washed my shawl & want to tell me nothing is wrong with it. I will not use their services again & not recommend their cleaners to anyone I know. Customer service is a huge part of owning a small business.
