Bobbie and Diane are gems at the front desk and are always delightful. Lynn and Rich are always in and out of their Massage rooms and always super friendly. Dr. Mike is one of a kind, I utilized his skill with a work injury and was stunned at how quickly I responded to his treatment. He is not your typical chiropractor who uses the usual heating pads and stem.... he connects with you and really knows what your body needs. Lynn was one of the first massage therapist I used and my god she is amazing, she is probably one of the best I had when it comes to deep tissue massage technique. She is a master and sweet as pie to boot! Rich is also a very skillful man at massage therapy, he uses his abilities and like Mike really connects with your body and it's needs. Rich partners with his bamboo sticks and hot rocks and really gets to the root of what the body needs. I finally broke down and started my search for one covered by my insurance. I wanted a chiropractor that has been around for some time, in a convenient location, trustworthy, and reputable. Unfortunately, most chiropractors in the area were either new, in a bad location, or had a ton of bad reviews. I was really surprised with what I found. Dr. Schaffer seemed to be the only chiropractor with excellent reviews and was very involved with his community. So I made an appointment. The first appointment was very long, about two hours. They had me get the paperwork completed, watch educational videos, run tests, and then meet the doctor. Dr Schaffer was very warm, friendly, and just wanted me to feel comfortable. I truly appreciated that because I was uneasy about having chiropractic care. He answered all of my questions and did the first adjustment that day. I am on a care plan, but I am very pleased with his work so far. I am feeling a lot better and can sleep at night. I am still waiting for my insurance to process their claims, but it seems to be inexpensive for everything I am having done. If anything changes with billing I will update the review. But. . . isn't that so dangerous with the plague? I had even taken a half day from work!!! Finally I chose to walk the hell out. I did that and never came back. My last experience with the office staff was poor. Extremely condescending and rude. Dr did personally call to try to salvage my business but he chose his rude office staff over the patient saying he would "work" with her. If your office staff is rude and condescending to patients why would they be the face-voice of your business anyway? Lots of turnover here too- that speaks volumes. I guess the only time they seem to care is when you walk out- I was getting calls nonstop but when you are there? No appreciation. I've since had two other old school chiropractors who charge me next to nothing because I don't go through insurance. I would never recommend Dr. Connelly…read more After almost an hour of him talking to me, discrediting my 10 years of health problems to "inflammation" and making snide remarks about all of my providers and what they were doing wrong to help me (PT, functional doc, previous Chiro) to try and make it seem like I just needed him... and telling me about how his wife left him... I politely declined X-rays without a thyroid collar (a common, evidence-based safety request). I was very calm and said "I'm not comfortable with it" - he became irate. I was met with aggression, intimidating (yelling) and personal attack. All in a room alone with him as a young female. It was extremely inappropriate, uncalled for and unprofessional response to a calm boundary well within my rights. Not a respectful or safe environment and I should honestly press charges for harassment.
