    This should have been a simple transaction: pay for a computer and receive a properly working…read moresystem. That's not what happened. The computer I received had Windows installed on the wrong drive, resulting in extremely slow performance. This is a basic configuration issue that should have been caught before shipment. Instead, I spent days troubleshooting something that should never have left their facility. After multiple support exchanges, a replacement was sent--but that unit arrived missing a required VGA port, causing additional delays while I waited for an adapter. By this point, I had already lost weeks trying to get a usable system. The bigger issue, however, was how everything was handled. I was told a prepaid return label was sent for the original unit, but I never received it. I later learned from a staff member that this has been an ongoing issue affecting other customers. To this day, I have not received confirmation that the original unit was returned. To be fair, I did make a mistake during part of the troubleshooting process on the second computer. However, the final response from a customer service manager (Mike Kelton) focused on assigning responsibility to the customer rather than acknowledging the original configuration error and the overall experience. All this was my fault? I also sent a detailed letter outlining this experience to the company's CEO, Steve Norton, and did not receive a response. In the end, I had to resolve the issues myself after investing a significant amount of time. What should have been a straightforward purchase turned into weeks of unnecessary work. If you're considering buying from here, understand that you may be doing your own quality control and troubleshooting--and if something goes wrong, accountability may be limited. I would not recommend based on this experience. Unless they change managers.

Mathew seemed proud of his inane remark that they wouldn't be able to deliver anything without an address; he was utterly ignorant of why a customer might want to know what additional costs would be charged before handing over their personal information, and refused to give details on/an estimate of delivery and installation charges. In addition, no one ever came to help me in the appliance section though I waited for some time. Many staff members walked by without making eye contact, while joking with their coworkers.

I paid for an item that is incomplete. I will be reaching out to the BBB for further assistance. This store is three hours from my residence. FYI. Don't buy any open box items from this store. I told the clerk, being the only employee in the store, that I needed a micro USB to USB B cable (Raspberry Pi Zero W 2 to 3D Printer). I knew they probably didn't have one. So, I'd have to cobble something with other cables. I told him I could use a USB A female to female or a Micro USB to USB A female. He picked a cable out and said here's a micro USB to USB A female. Great! Purchased for $9 plus tax. Got home, it wouldn't work. I looked at the package and noticed it said micro USB On The Go. USB OTG does not support passthrough of data. He knew exactly what I was trying to do and still offered me this cable. So, I brought it back for a return and purchased the USB A female to female connector which worked perfectly for my application. Here's where the problem started. It is clearly marked on the receipt and signage in the store that all returns are subject to an 8% restocking fee. This would have been fine had I picked out the cable and it was wrong. But the clerk picked it out, not me. He should have refunded the entire amount, but he didn't. Furthermore, they have some type of antiquated system where he had to call the owner to approve the return. He even told the owner "the customer bought the wrong cable." Of course, he didn't admit any fault. On the way out I let him know that I didn't think what he did was right, but all he did was state the return policy on the wall. When I said "but you gave me the wrong cable..." he acted like that didn't matter. I told him I would write this review, so here it is. CPU Wholesale... DO BETTER and do the right thing next time. Very dissapointed.

The technician himself took everyone's internet offline, left, lines in the ground, saying he would have us back online in 30 minutes.... he left and never came back, only filling out a ticket for someone else to do his job. NEXT WEEK.... That's what happens when they hire someone who can't speak English and has no idea what the Super Bowl is. When I asked him, as he was in his bucket disconnecting our internet, "You know this is Superbowl Weekend, right?: he said, "What's the Super Bowl?!"

Reschedule date offered was 2 days out, requested to cancel, Optimum would not cancel service after 2 hours on the phone. Called again to cancel spent 2 hours being transferred to several agents. Believed it was canceled received calls from Optimum threatening will be charged for equipment and a month of service if I didn't let a Technician install service in 2 days. I advised I called another company same day Optimum was didn't show, company installed next day, now don't need Optimum service. Optimum threaten again to charge me month and equipment cost if I didn't allow the Technician to install. I responded don't send anyone, didn't want their service. Don't recommend Optimum, they don't deliver and threaten you when you don't accept their service.
