Look no further if you need gutter repair. And I'll go out on a limb and guess that their gutter cleaning is just as high quality -- I'll be switching our gutter cleaning to them in the Spring & Fall, based on how well they helped us with our repairs. So here's the sitch -- we'd just had our gutters cleaned and the service provider mentioned our gutters in the back were sagging which meant water wasn't draining, so they needed repair. Based on great reviews online for Catalino, I called for an estimate -- which was provided in about 2 days (quick considering it's Winter, many people needed their gutters cleaned after an early Fall snow which meant that every gutter company was backed-up with cleaning and calls for repairs, like mine). The price seemed reasonable, so we proceeded. Not only were they able to fill our repair needs FAR sooner than anticipated, the communication was TRULY exceptionally good, and then they were able to fix some very unanticipated repairs when they uncovered that our fascia boards (what the gutters hook onto) were completely rotten. In summary, they kept exactly to the revised quote that included more repairs than anticipated, the pricing was VERY reasonable, their timeline was to the "T" with what they quoted, they did an extraordinary job of cleaning up behind themselves, and were friendly and offered superior communication throughout. We're switching everything for gutter maintenance to them, and any future repairs will come their way without hesitation. A+++++++++ service.

I told them my house was 100+ years old with old gutters in need of immediate repairs and replacement in the spring. The rep said no problem and asked zero questions about what type of gutters I had. He just pushed to schedule an estimate with no information. At the time, it did feel a bit slick, but I went ahead anyway as they were working on two houses in my historic neighborhood. The phone rep scheduled my estimate for a specific time, in the afternoon, 2 weeks out. On the scheduled day, a young kid showed up in the morning instead because he was in the area and it was convenient for him. He emailed me the estimate and it was for the wrong service. He did return to correct the estimate, but I found him resistant to do anything but sell me expensive new gutters. It was obvious he was trained to immediately tell me how useless it was to do repairs. It felt slick and self-serving, not honest. I was quickly turned off. Again, I had told their rep when I called weeks ago, that the house is painted next spring. Why waste my time and schedule an estimate only to show up and decline repairs because the house has gutter pins? They are working in my neighborhood and they are aware it's a neighborhood of 100+ year old houses. Seems a 'gutter expert' would be well aware of pinned gutters being a potential issue and ASK about it when the estimate is requested. My impression is this company wants to build a professional gutter service using fancy signs, a slick estimating process (that unfortunately they themselves don't follow), cheap labor, and cheap materials put up with a fast install installation. If you're looking for a fast and basic gutter job that doesn't pay attention to your house, they may work for you. However, if you in a historic home and are looking for quality gutters from a company who understands how houses are built and respects your time as a homeowner, I would stay away.

I really liked talking with Nick who was very helpful on the phone in regards to my situation with my gutters. When we had that horrific windstorm we had a tree fall on our house twice in a week of each storm that came through the town I live in which is Greece, NY. Our roof was damaged, gutters, and the front of our house. It look like a war zone, but speaking with Nick he assured me to get the seamless gutters and they would be right out to get the house done. I could of took the cheap way out, but saw the value in their warranty and how their gutters are put up with the materials they use. Let's just say I could hang from these things and that's saying a lot. They came out and replaced everything on my house with new seamless gutters and the downspouts. They even pitched the downspouts away from my house so the water would not gather along my house to keep my basement I remodeled dry. All I can say is my husband and I are very pleased with the quality of work, there workers, and how professional they were during installation. [Emphasis JCi's.] On 12/20/2022, I emailed JCi noting that I'd apparently not made its list after all and that I'd look elsewhere for a reliable contractor. The response included an apology with excuses about workload and weather, and an offer that if the weather warms up he could "try to get out there" -- not exactly the 'firm' commitment he'd made in October, so I once again stated that he needn't worry about it as I 'd look for someone reliable. JCi emailed again late on 12/29/2022 with an offer that he "may be able to come by" the next day -- once again, not a firm commitment to actually showing up, so for the third time I responded that I'd look for someone else -- some reliable. JCi replied on 12/30/2022 that, "I wasn't really interested in working for you after that last email but I was going to fit you in...". And there it is -- with JCi, I am the bad guy despite being clear in my very first inquiry that I was looking for someone RELIABLE. I am the bad guy despite the fact that JCi failed to keep a firm commitment to clean my gutters before winter [There's a word for that, and it's not "Reliable"].
