I had my first experience today using Priceless Transport Care. I am in Summerfield Rehab recovering from a MRSA infection in my leg. I am using wheelchair or walkers and had to get to an appointment with my cardiologist today. I could not have used my car and ambulance services are very expensive . I was so lucky to get a referral to Priceless Transport Care (h/t to North Bay Med Transport for the recommendation). This was my first time using private medical transport, and I had no idea what to expect or where to even look for legitimate options. Priceless made everything easy for me. From the first phone call, Kevin was professional, kind, empathetic, and transparent about costs and care, and it was clear that I was working with a responsible, professional service. Without detailing the actual transport experience, I will say that the guys were kind and conscientious throughout. Because I had to be transported on a gurney, they chaperoned me throughout the doctor's visit, and were considerate not only of my comfort, but also of those around, making sure, for example, that they were not in anyone's way. They checked frequently to make sure I felt safe and secure throughout, and let me know what they were doing if they had to move the gurney, etc. In general, they made a stressful outing much less so, and that was worth the entire fee for the service. Price was fair, arrival was even a few minutes early, van was immaculate, driver (Alex) was the most compassionate and professional driver I have every encountered. I was a "guest" on the transport, my friend was the patient. Alex stayed with us from start to finish (round trip). If you had to send a patient alone to an appointment he would have helped handle everything, including filling out paperwork, if you needed the help. I can't say thank you enough to Alex!
