This stop is a good place to stretch the legs and take in some local color. The woman who owns the store is a very friendly person who talks about the area and will answer questions you have. I walked around and looked at the merchandise and I ended up getting an iron on patch for one of my jackets. I also got the chance to meet and pet the store cat, Misty, who lays wherever she wants during the day and then catches mice at night. Look out back and enjoy the great scenery. This is another Roadise America stop on this scenic byway.

The station is located on Route 66 just before the road makes a steep climb over the Black Mountains; a beautiful, narrow stretch of the highway that hugs the mountains. The coffee was good, my soda was cold and the owner was very pleasant.
