I was looking to have my patio freshened up. A pillar needed releveling, pavers replaced, pressure…read morewashed, sealed...the whole 9 yards. I spoke to the owner before contract was signed and he said my patio would be looking close to new. I said I had a dumb question and proceeded to ask and his response was...well that kinda is a dumb question. I should of moved on from there but I didn't because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I also had their lawn mowing services at the time. On this particular day with the patio and lawn being done at the same time they left my 6ft gate open. One of my dogs got out. As I frantically watched my cameras after my boyfriend told me about it I was beyond furious. Thank God my neighbors helped to get her back inside the yard. I called the company and spoke to the owner saying I wanted to cancel the lawn services based on this fact. At this time my patio work had not been completed. The company never showed up again to seal my patio. During a 2 week span we got very heavy rainfall and some of the sand came out of the joints. I tried calling them for the next month to express my concerns and never got a call back. Not to mention the border papers were not even straight before they did the polymeric sand. After a month of waiting for a call back they sent me a bill! When I finally talked to the wife Lisa I think I might get some resolve with this matter. So far I do not recommend this company

The value Breyer Construction provides is hard to match because when you are operating at the level they are, EVERYTHING is systematized to guarantee results. Think to yourself, do you want a guarantee outcome or do you want to gamble with hiring the cheap guys who don't bring this kind of experience to the table. Just as you wouldn't bargain shop for a doctor, you should not bargain shop for your contractor. Your home is your most valuable asset. Don't trust it to anyone else.

When I moved from Houston,TX to Lancaster,PA one of the first things I did was look for a…read morecontractor to do some upgrading & remodeling to a new home I just purchased. I was looking for someone who was able to do it cheap and fairly quickly. A friend recommended I give the "Remodel Artist" (Matt Jakielski) a call to give me an estimate. Matt was at my house the same day and was able to do a walk through of my house with me. I needed a lot of work done to the house (new tile flooring, painting, new windows, doors, etc..) so I wasn't trying to spend a fortune on both labor & supplies. The next day, Matt sent over a contract and we were able to work out a deal that made us both happy. 2 weeks later, the work was finished and my place looked completely different then it did before. (see pictures; I only have after pictures) I was very happy with the quality of the work especially when done in such a short amount of time. Matt was very easy to deal with and I was very satisfied with his work. He's very professional and he keeps you informed. There were no hidden suprises like I've experienced with other contractors in the past.
