The opened very recently and even if the prices are a bit more expensive than the old kebab that was there the amount of food on each plate is bigger as well. Chicken kebab taste is amazing + the meat doesn't look like the rest of the places, it looks like they have freshly-prepared meat and you can notice it on the amazing flavor that the chicken has! You can ask for a roll or on a plate, my suggestion is to take it on a plate since they include an gorgeous homemade bread with it! Careful if you want to order your kebab with chips... the plate is so big that you will explote if you ended up eating everything! ;) They also cook an amazing chicken wings on charcoal grill, yummmm! After some research, I took a stroll to Slough Kebab, which is about a 15-20 min walk from the train station. Anyway we walk in to a vast takeout counter, but as we were dining in we were directed to the room on the right side with many open tables. They were busy cleaning, and as we sat we noticed the place was spotless. We ordered from our table, and of course, we ended up getting the lamb and chicken doners with chips as our side. There was a small and large option and we went with the small. When the plates arrived they looked like a large to us, but this place just has generous portions. The lamb was succulent and glistening, and the chicken was packed with flavor. We also had a fresh hot pita, garlic sauce, and spicy sauce on the side to accompany the meal. Everything was fantastic! We certainly couldn't finish all the food, but rest assured, it was thoroughly enjoyed. Only feedback I would have is perhaps offering the doner in a wrap form for easy lunch eating. The establishment was cash only on this visit, not sure if that is normal. Nevertheless, if my travels ever find me in Slough again, I would certainly return to indulge in the countless other menu items.

The place gets very busy because it's so good and thus I was delighted when (relatively) recently they launched a website to facilitate online ordering. so in an ideal world you'd order online, pay online then just drop in to collect your stuff....which brings me to the reason I'm posting this....... the ordering website is straightforward and allows excellent customisation of food orders which is all good. Unfortunately, the actual kebab centre shop (for some unknown reason) only takes cash payments - which is weird in 2022 esp after a pandemic when I haven't really had any actual cash money for about 2 years. Anyway, the online site does have an option to pay by card....which would be just the best thing ever. But everytime I've tried to pay by card (and using different cards), and this has happended a few times, the website instantly returns a failure message. Naturally enough there is no way to report this as a problem. so basically they've just snatched a defeat from the jaws of a massive victory. And I'm only writing this hoping that someone will pick up the issue and fix it, coz I love their kebabs, just don't like having to get cash before I go.
